I could not begin to justify buying a new console. And I know they're not gonna change my mind. If I could, I would just get a better PC instead at this point.
Only thing I want right now is a PS3, and mostly for PS1/2 games tbh.
I'm not really interested in a PS4 or XBO right now, and I already own a Wii U. Unless Sony announces a price drop for the PS3 I probably won't be getting a new console this year.

The only game on the PS4/One horizon that I'm interested in is Kingdom Hearts III...and I can't justify spending all that money for one game. All the other games on PS4 and One that interest me at the moment I can get on my 360...
This E3 probably won't change that. If I get either one, it'll likely be next year or later. As for now, I've got a large backlog to clear and a Wii U to satisfy 8th gen gaming needs.
I own a PS1, GBA, GBA SP, Wii (GCN), 360, 3DS, PC (Laptop), Wii U, and PS4.
I used to own a GBC, PS2, and DS Lite
Well, I may not be able to upgrade my PC which means if I want to play Doom 4, and I really do, then I might have to get a XB1 or PS4. The games will play a factor but only if my friends are still undecided. I am leaning towards XB1 because my Boss has it and it has Halo 2, so I could play a great game and game with my boss more. The PS4 is tempting with the Uncharted Collection and The Last of Us. Both have additional charge of $60 a year which I really don't like. It will be interesting.
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

No new console unless Fallout 4 comes out in 2015. I do not want a PS4 for anything else at the moment. It's entire library is on the PS3 or WiiU, so why bother?
I was already saving for a PS4 and if Fallout 4 will get a 2015 release date, I'll buy one soon, with Bloodborne and Alien Isolation too. Next winter my Wii U may collect a lot of dust (mostly depend on XCX release date!)
Ahhhhh Console players getting excited about backward compatibility
lmao
I'm not excited. It's just, I didn't have a reason to want to buy the Xbox One before... As interesting as everything was, I'm not rich and I've got a large 360 backlog. Now that there's backwards compatibility coming, I can knock some dollars off of the price AND keep all of my 360 games...that'll give me something to play as well as a bunch of other games to play on it in my "free time".
ON TOP OF THAT, the third party games I am interested are coming to the Xbox One, so... Yeah. Kingdom Hearts III as well as whatever the future brings and BC? Sold. I'm probably going to transfer the money and buy one before the day is out.

If you think that's bad, many of them need to change their pants after Nintendo makes a 25 year old NES game available on VC for $4.99
Who the hell cares about what people get excited over? So what if people are getting excited about backwards compatibility? Not having it was something that I find questionable, so it's nice to finally have the option. And so what if people were happy about Earthbound Beginnings? A lot of people who played Earthbound want to play the rest of series, and before you bring up the rom on the internet, I think they'd want to play it legally. If it makes them excited, does it really matter? Also, are you saying that it's bad I got excited over Earthbound Beginnings?T_T
There is nothing here...except for the stuff I just typed...

They're PC gamers, by the sound of it. Best to not waste your time. They'll lose their minds if the system they dropped $800+ on can't run a game at 4K with an uncapped framerate.

Just announced Xbox One backward compatibility to Xbox 360. Time to get an Xbox One, I suppose.
I assume you have a good and stable online connection to play the streamed 360 games on Xbox One. Also, not all games will be playable from the start, they'll start with a 100 games this fall.
Nothing will convince me to get more hardware at this point. WiiU has enough interesting stuff to keep me busy, PS4 and XBone have no games I care about, I'm pretty much at a point where I'm accepting that the gaming business isn't what I liked about it anymore, and that this era is the end of the line for me.
