Topic: How much Video game music have you memorized?

Have any of you ever memorized any game music to the point where you can hum it correctly when you hear it again?

Go Go Mario and the Pokemon tunes, nothing else is worth my time or memory to memorize lol

as i said in chat -- like every game i've ever played, man. my husband always complains that 'the game's already in stereo, dear, you don't need to hum', lol, but i can't help but hum along half the time.

I've retracked songs from memory. I honestly wish I could gain back free use of the brain RAM that is perma-allocated to videogame music.

The mario world 1-1 and 1-2 themes. This might not count but i used to know the main themes from Mass Effect ( M4 part 2) and Mirror's Edge(still alive) by heart.

Definitely. =) Mario and Zelda of course, but then I also have Pokemon, Baten Kaitos, Fire Emblem, Final Fantasy, and many others.

God, thousands of tunes... Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Streets of Rage, Metal Gear Solid, Starfox, Pikmin, Sonic, Tetris... the list could go on. i remeber once in a taxi into town on a night out, everyone just started humming the Halo music simultaneously.

I cannot possibly count, I have almost 100 hours of video game music in my library and I listen to it every day.

Maybe some tunes from NES and SNES games.

I have so many game tunes buried in my subconscious, sometimes it can be surprising what gets dredged up, and how accurately.

This morning I have been whistling the theme to Yoshi 64, and I haven't played that game in years.

only 1: Room of Angels (Silent Hill 4).

A lot of Mega Man chiptunes and Silent Hill music mostly. Castlevania also.

Pretty much everything that catches my ear. If I'm not talking myself through a game, I'm humming along to the music.

Currently memorizing the music to Synaesthete. Other then those purely Corbgasm-tastic tunes, I know the basic stuff, such as SMB 1-1 and Wily's Fortress in Megaman 2.

I've probably memorized way too much video game music. I most of the classics. I know entire soundtracks of certain games. There are probably hundreds of songs that I can recall with near perfect accuracy off the top of my head, and more that I'll remember by just hearing a small part.
