Topic: How much has this game sold now?

Posts 1 to 10 of 10

This topic is about finding sales numbers about a game that was released a little while long. Once that information is revealed, you can then ask what game you want to know how much it sold till now.

So I'll start by asking this......how much has Starfox 64 3D sold right now? I hope it atleast reaches a million......

ie. I cant find some information so I'll get someone else to look it up on google, then let them find the answer for me?
Why limit such an amazing idea to game sales?

0.78 million. A quick search on Google gave me that answer.

I should be past 0.78 million units by now because it's available on eShop. I downloaded it.

Any game I'm interested in for the sales stats are all download only games.

my point exactly. It should've sold more than a million by now. Hasn't anyone ever found out the real sales chart?

But he's not looking all around in that GIF. Methinks the title of his show may be a bit inaccurate.

I will admit that the number is actually higher than what is stated because it does not include digital downloads. BUT! It most likely is not that much higher.

Why? Because although the game was released in 2011, it was released in the eShop in late 2012, more than a year after release in all regions. Therefore, the people who would have bought the download version fall into three categories. 1: They prefer downloadable games. 2: It was not possible to get the game cheaper, or wasn't worth it. 3: Just naive people (no offense) These three groups are very small, and are most definitely outnumbered by two other categories of people. 1: Those interested in the game who have already gotten it. 2: Prefer to buy it in a cheaper place, like Amazon, where it is currently $27.39.

As to whether or not the game has passed the million mark…..who knows? It's possible it already has, but I think it hasn't. But it will most definitely pass the million mark at some point.
