So I assume everyone here likes gaming, or Nintendo games at least. Well when do you think you'll stop? It has to happen sometime, no? Do you think it'll happen when life begins to get in the way, or when you're simply too old to have the required dexterity and reaction time?
And what do you see yourself doing when you finally drop gaming altogether? Scary questions, I know.
If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.
In the last 6 months the amount I actually play video games has gone down immensely. I don't ever see myself quitting gaming outright, but I do see myself becoming even more of a casual gamer.

I'll stop gaming when other obligations prevent me from doing so or make it a bad idea, but that's not really stopping so much as it is an extended break. I'll probably actually stop when I get too old do really do anything at all.
I've been gaming much too long to imagine stopping anytime before being a really old man. That makes me wonder how different the old people deriving from this generation will be to the current elders. Old people gaming being a regular thing, can you imagine? Imagine old peoples' homes being rigged with donated New Wii U i's and Playstation 7s.
Being an older user here amongst my fellow Nintendo Lifers, I can safely say I've been playing games longer than most users here have been alive. Quitting playing video games permanently has never really crossed my mind. Sure, there have been times in my life where there were other priorities over video games and during those times I learned to put the controller down and take care of my IRL stuff. I've always lived by the motto of Work First, Game Later. Always take care of your life priorities first, whether that is getting a job, doing your homework, or doing chores. Personally, I am a clean, neat freak and I always clean my apartment if its messy over playing video games. I have also taken time to enjoy other hobbies besides gaming, such as playing my guitar, reading a good novel, or going out for a jog. Your life should include a balance of lots of different things,.....just my two cents. Cool topic @TeeJay
I can't see myself stopping. The only reason I'd stop is if I physically can't play games anymore, which would be sad. However, I've noticed that I've had a whole lot less time than before to play games once I started to get my goals in check! Even then, I'm still going to return once in a while, at least.
All my life. I'm 27 and still love gaming as much now as I did when I was a child. It's the only passion that's stayed with me my whole life and never wavered. My fiancée is also a gamer; so thankful that it's something that we can both share together.
My game library ranges from Mario Kart to Call of Duty to Tales of Xillia to Diablo 3 to Forza. To me gaming is about having fun - not blindly supporting only one company while thumbing your nose at "the evil other systems."
I'll quit when I'm dead. Who's to say gaming will be still be in its current form in the future. Maybe it'll change to a point where we are forced to quit playing..

Probably just an hour or two. I won't really have much in the way of time today, so I'll have to wait until after my wife goes to bed and I've finished everything else I need to do, but it'll be pretty late by then and I have to work in the morning, so, it won't be as long as I might have liked.

I'll keep playing games as long as I'm able to, and still have interest in playing them. I have no idea when the day I drop video games completely will come because I still love playing them.
