I myself have been playing Sonic & Knuckles for the review and it's stirred up some old Sega nostalgia for me. My pride and joy would have to be my JVC X'Eye system. It's a Mega Drive/Mega CD combo unit. I found it at a Toys R Us store that had closed years ago and got it brand new for $20.
Here is my JVC X'Eye. It's sitting next to the lovely Super Nintendo deck.

Sega Dreamcast (HONK!). Playing ChuChu Rocket! online with a 33.3K modem (HONK!). Loving JSR, MSR, All the fighting games and Shmup's (HONK!). Also loved playing Quake III arena, Speed devils online, Toy Racer (TR was EU only) and planet ring (PR was EU only). NBA 2K was amazing as well at the time. Good days and good nights and huge phone bills.

The SEGA logo used to feature heavily in my acidic hallucinations. I played Nintendo much more than SEGA as a kid, but that damn logo seems to be buried deep in my subconscious.
I wish SEGA hadn't quit the moment Sony and Microsoft trod on their toes, but they did, and that's how I will remember them. Losers!!
Don't get me wrong, I thought they were cool in their time, but how they have garnered such a loyal following I will never understand. Sonic fans, answer me this... how do you ever forgive them for destroying the bluehog's street cred? I could never forgive Nintendo if they soiled Mario's name.
EDIT: What I meant to say was... "SEGA are cool, some of their games really rock! I really wish they were still involved in teh console war."
That's not everything, but y'know, it's quite a lot. It was taken about a year ago so doesn't include my Shining Force III artbook and a few other bits. I'm still proud of it though.
sega has disappointed me over and over again through the years... they've been doing some good things recently, though... i LOVE MadWorld. so i guess you could say that's half a honk. we could just call it a "H--".... wait... no. we'll call it a "NK" instead.
Yeah, there's been a fair few rough patches but I still love them. Seeing Nintendo and Sega's name on the same boot-up screen in F-Zero GX is still, for me at least, one of gaming's greatest ever moments.
@Prosody: Awesome collection! I had one of those Sonic dolls on the right when I was a kid (if it's the really old one, anyway). I want it back now That said, maybe it's still in the attic. Hmm. I'll have to check :3
