I don't know why Konami never ported The Simpsons Arcade Game to the SNES or the MegaDrive. It would've been reduced to 2 players, some things would've been altered in the transition, but I think it would've worked.

I have Bart vs. the Space Mutants and Bartman Meets Radioactiveman on NES and The Simpsons Game on PS2.
When I was little I got to the museum level in Space Mutants (which I think is the second to last level?) and I think only level 2 in Bartman. I beat The Simpsons Game but never went back to it after I did.

ahh I do have fond memories of the arcade game. and I think we had one called Virtual Springfield for the PC where you just explored and talked to people...

Probably because Acclaim had the console Simpsons license at the time. It's too bad, since several of their arcade games of the time (TMNT 2 (IV), Gradius III, Parodius, Sunset Riders) got great SNES ports, and the arcade game is quite good.

As for the topic at hand, I own Road Rage (decent for its style, but very repetitive), Hit & Run (a really solid GTA-style game), and the Wii Simpsons Game (which makes good use of the license to liven up a rather bland platformer/beat 'em up).

I've played a number of the Acclaim-era games as well, primarily Krusty's Fun House (a rather decent puzzle-platformer), and Virtual Bart (which has good presentation, but plays quite poorly).

I owned Bart Vs. The Space Mutants, Bart Vs. The World, and Bart's Nightmare. All cool games from what I remember.

Yeah but Acclaim is totally outta business now. Too bad they cant do a port to Wiiware or XBLA like they did with TMNT: The Arcade game.

The only good Simpsons game is Konami's arcade game. I hope it gets ported to the Virtual Console Arcade some day.

I played Hit & Run at my Uncle's house, and I have The Simpons Game for PSP.

I have Hit & Run on the Gamecube. I'm pretty sure I beat it. And I remember it being... okay.

I also remember having this Treehouse of Horrer themed game on the GBC, but I sold it years ago.

.... or something like that.

Hit & Run was fun... Other than that, I only recall Bart's Nightmare.

I rented Hit & Run but never really got into it.
The only one I ever owned was Bart's Nightmare for the SNES. I loved it as a kid even if I never finished it.
