I'm not sure an extra day is going help. I have been trying off and on all day and have got online zero times...

29 million copies sold in just 6 weeks. Staggering levels of success. It's probably going to surpass Mario Kart Wii as the best selling non-pack in of all time by Christmas.

Well I went ahead and doubled dipped on this one and so far I am not sorry I did. I really really like the first person view in fact I am going to find it hard now to play GTA in a third person view now lol. The upgrade graphics are really nice as well. I am also looking forward to playing this online with some friends since I actually know people who have this game and a PS4 this time around. Anyone else double dip on this one?

I have dignity so I don't buy the same game twice.

I might've considered it if I had loved the game and if it was an actual improvement instead of just a graphical upgrade.

I don't even want to update my 360 version...

I would buy it second time, if it had all DLCs that still didn't come... and graphics were vastly improved... and the price was like 30$ or even lower... and I liked the game that much to begin with, which I didn't.

Instead, it's pretty much the same mess with framerate issues and little graphical improvement. So why people are rushing for it I don't know.

I think the only way I would double dip this one is if I saw it in the bargain bin and I had nothing to play.
I don't understand why we need a remastering of a game that is only a year old...

GTA V is cool but no way I'm buying it for new gen at full price. People must be bored.... Just wait for a price drop.

Many gamers have offloaded their previous systems when they went to current gen. So they just want to replay (play or finish) a game. That is something Nintendo users haven't had to worry about for a few gens. While I still have all of my systems Only my wii and wiiu are hooked up and i have full access to my gcn and wii library. I'll be retiring the wii once i get a jpn wiiu.

They put way too much effort into the new version to be able to release it at $30, and I'm more critical of remakes than anyone.

They basically upgraded every aspect of the game, and the first person view does make the game much different. As nearly every professional reviewer has pointed out, ie. why this game that people are buying because they 'must be bored' is the highest ranked game so far this generation.

Good luck finding it in a 'bargain bin' anytime soon.
