So I've been out all day at a 3DS meet up (got two Pikmin plushies). Just got home and unexpectedly found my Amazon GTA order waiting on the door mat! Sorry Kingdom Hearts 1.5
i'll buy it if they release a PS4 version
don't really want to buy a PS3 + a PS4.... i don't want my living room full of consoles, Wii U + PS4 next to my tv should be enough
now if the downward compatibility of the PS4 (via Gaikai) turns out to be really bad and it won't work properly... or if it won't work at all for the most games.. then i'll have to buy a PS3 as well at some point
(for Uncharted 1-3, GTA V, Journey, The Last of Us, Ni No Kuni, etc.)
Meh... gotta wait 'till October 1st to play this with friends. Not cool, mayn.
Love my 3DS, Fighting games and Zombies. Enuff' said. Check out my website for reviews! MaxiMillion Reviews ~~~~~~~~~~ Currently Playing: Animal Crossing: New Leaf (Dream Address: 6200-2457-2458), W...
Honestly I like the GTA franchise and all, but with my Xbox 360 not being able to read disks at all at the moment, I am most like not goin to get it and just get the One on the midnight release later after, unless I heard something wrong and GTA 5 is goin to be for the One as well.

Marisa- It's so hot, I'm gonna die here.
Reimu- If you die, I'll feed your corpse to the birds.
Remilia- My, it'd be fine if you'd let me take care of tha...
The detail of this world is incredible. It's easily my favourite map of any open world game.
I've said it before, but I'll say it again. 2013 has been an incredible year for gaming. Fire Emblem: Awakening, Bioshock Infinite, The Last Of Us, Rayman Legends and now GTA V. There's still a whole Q4 to come.

You've fotgot to add Ni No Kuni, Dragons Crown, Diablo III to your list, if your into these games that is.

I'm predicting a LOT of attention from animal welfare groups this week. There's Red Dead Redemption levels of wildlife, now in a world full of vehicles.
Reviews are out. It got an Edge 10, but honestly after playing all weekend I expected nothing less. Pretty much every criticism of GTA IV had been addressed. Their closing comment:
"No one makes worlds like Rockstar, but at last it has produced one without compromise. Everything works. It has mechanics good enough to anchor games of their own, and a story that is not only what GTA has always wanted to tell but also fits the way people have always played it. It’s a remarkable achievement, a peerless marriage of world design, storytelling and mechanics that pushes these ageing consoles to the limit and makes it all look easy. As we stand on the brink of a new generation, GTAV sends an intimidating message to the rest of the industry. Beat that."

I am a wild and free Ninetails not a trainer.. get over it...
There is no game franchise I loathe more than GTA. Not just because the game is not appealing in any manner, nor actually enjoyable to play, but because of what it has done to the industry. It has inspired myriads of clones and other games that are all about mature/ shock value antics teaching society how amazing it is to have no moral compass and to do what ever you want to get what you want. It's the reason I hate most of what has become "popular" gaming types in the last decade and the reason I support Nintendo so much. I know that there is mature content on WiiU and I even play some, depending on why the content is mature I just really hope Nintendo keeps making great games I love that I don't have to feel lower my moral standards or make things like drug dealing and prostition seem ok or normal. Drugs kill and ruin lives and society and we glorify it in games like this. It's not just playing games, no matter what people think, it desentises us to terrible things.. The only good thing to come from Nintendo ever leaving the industry is the $1000's of dollars I would save on games every year since there are so few games on Sony or MS that seem palpatable. Before I get tons of responses saying this, "Yes I know GTA was not the 1st last or only game like this". I just really think there popularity changed the industry as a whole, and sadly for me, negatively.
I used to be a normal person until I played GTA. Now I've killed a dozen people and spend my days hanging with prostitutes and freebasing heroin. Damn you, Rockstar!
"The government of the United States is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion."
Well there is no midnight release for the game where I live when there was one for black ops 2, I just hope I can get a special edition or at least get the blimp dlc from my pre order.
Nice one Splat, i'm waiting for the postman now myself.
Anyway i've just woke-up truned on the TV, and what came on the BBC1 News GTAV. Thay had a woman that writes reviews for games, and while showing off some of the gameplay. She was saying its one of the best games ever made, from game mechanics to the games story everything about the she said. Thay where also saying the game was expecting to bring in $500 million in its first week, more money than any big blockbuster film. Which as most of us already know the game industry makes more money than film industry, Wow R* must be on a high right now, the only other game that has been on the News was COD because of its sales, well done R*.
I got my copy around 11:30am, and i must say i'm loving it. And for anyone that never got the Special/Collector's Edition, blueprint map.
The blueprint map that comes in the Special and Collector’s Edition of GTA V actually has a secret message on it that appears under UV light. Seeing as it’s 2013 and not that many folk have easy access to a UV light, here’s what the message says:
T.P.E – Trevor Philips Enterprises. Weaponry, narcotics, intimidation and casual wear.
Lago Zancudo
Great Ocean Highway North
Through North Chumash
0.5 miles past Raton Canyon
<— when guard rail ends
Follow the dirt road
Down the docks
Bring $500,000 cash
I'm gong to do this once i'm further into the game, and have that sort of money.
