Topic: GTA4 for only $5 USD

Im not a big GTA fan other than PSone days and Chinatown Wars but I picked up GTA4 for only $5 bucks used this past weekend at a local video rental store and found that its not near as bad as all the hype that is made up about it. Yes the language does get old but the gameplay is ALOT better than the PS2 days. I kinda like the main character Nikko too. Its not just a bunch of garbage like its made out to be.

Well I checked at Amazon and it's 35$... so I won't buy it lol

I didn't like it at all.

Game informer gave it a 10 so I wouldn't expect it to be garbage.

LOL it was at a local place that trades in games for credits not actual cash so they can sell stuff really cheap sometimes to get in customers i guess. They had some really good Wii stuff as well. Had Galaxy and Corruption for 5 bucks as well.

That's well cheap for those games, in my local Gamestation a pre-owned copy of Galaxy was £20 ($32) last I saw; Corruption was £13 but they're just trying to sell through the remaining stock before Trilogy lands.

GTAIV is fine, bought it on its release but never bothered to finish it. I keep meaning to go back to it...

I still have to finish GTA IV. It's one of my goals this summer

Im actually having a blast with it. Nikko being very reserved really makes it very tolerable with the language. Having the option to not do some certain things is cool as well. Im having fun and thats all that counts

BTW, you're one lucky dog to find that game at $5! I still need to get it myself, but I'm more interested in playing the PS2 games first than just straight out buying IV.
