When I discovered Forza, I thought it was a miracle!
1. Balanced cars. No starting with a Toyota or whatever. 2. No used cars, so no starting with a 300,000 mile Eclipse. 3. Damage! 4. Adjustable AI 5. Download content (in Forza 2 and Forza 3) 6. The Big Three: Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini 7. No special models (horseless carriages, etc) 8. Sell prize cars for what they're woth new (in Forza 1 at least) 9. LEARN BY DOING! NO MORE DRIVER'S TESTS! 10. No rally racing

1)Really do not understand what you mean by this but whatever, doesn't matter what car you start off. 2)Its called a career mode for a reason. Everyone had to start somewhere. Duh. 3)I'll play Burnout if I want to crash a car because in a game like Gran Turismo,if you set one tire on the grass you spin out so why would someone go into the grass in the first place? We have a thing called BRAKES now. Also when a Car hits off eachother, again I'll play GTA4 or Burnout for that. 4)I haven't played GT in awhile but I believe it has classes in the arcade and career mode. Sorta like Mario Kart. 5)Gran Turismo 4 came out on the PS2,were you honestly expecting DLC? Oh and GT5 will feature it and over ***1000* CARS. 6)I don't like Porsche so thats all opinion and doesn't affect the game in a technical view. Also GT5 has Ferrari and Lamborghini I believe. 7)Choice's can be made in the game,no one is forcing you to use a special model. 8)If you can't afford a car, race, race, race, race, race, race, and guess what? Race. Thats the whole point of career mode. 9)Its called "The Real Driving Simulator" for many reasons and this being one of them. 10)Sucks for you because I love rallying around the corner in my WRC Subaru.

Burnout FTW. Nobody needs car driving simulators when we already have real life.

Except you can't drive recklessly at 100 miles an hour in real life, unless you intend to make that life very, very short.
Personally, I prefer Gran Turismo. Forza was a bit too realistic for my tastes, to the point were you were extremely limited to what you could do in a race. I loved making shortcuts and ping-ponging off cars to shorten my times and get ahead in GT. In fact, if it weren't for the stats and customization, Gran Turismo would be considered pretty arcadey, which is a plus in my opinion.
@Mickeymac What I said was for the LOLs. Didn't really mean for anyone to take it seriously.

Gran Turismo demo on PSN sucks. Forza is a much better game unless Gran Turismo Nascar and WRC part is phenominal. Honestly though, Ill take Need for Speed Shift or Dirt 2 over both anyday.

As a former STi owner (irl), I love me some WRC. I don't know much about Forza3 but it sucks that there's no rallying. I like starting with "junky" cars and working my way up to something nice/expensive. The driver's tests always bothered me in Gran Turismo. I could race the crap outta anything and usually come out on top...but those stupid driver's tests were so darned frustrating. When it comes down to it, Gran Turismo was the first racing game I ever played so it will always hold a special place in my heart. However, since I don't own a PS3, Forza will be my eventual purchase.
