Topic: Good Keyboard-To-Gamepad Free Software?

^{I guess I gotta explain the story...}

So, I decided to get Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box for PC. I installed the game and found that it worked beautifully on my gaming computer. But there was one problem; the controls just didn't feel right. So, I dug out my sorta-old Playstation2-like gamepad and plugged it in so that the controls would be better. One more problem arose; the game doesn't recognize it. So then I went online and was going to download a program called Xpadder, a keyboard-to-gamepad program that I had used a while ago for some games. But then (not surprisingly), another problem arose; the maker of the product was now forcing you to pay a good $10 for the thing.Being a smart person and not giving my money to some guy I didn't know, I decided to give the website the finger. Now here is the NEW problem that arose; I don't know any good (and free) programs that bind keyboard keys to gamepad buttons. So I'm now asking you people to help me.

The Main Topic: Do you know any good and free keyboard-to-gamepad programs?

I didn't know that they started charging for XPadder!? 5.3 is the last version where they didn't from what I found online, its on 5.7 now.

Update: Don't worry about it, it was no sweat, I just searched for it on Google. There's a full list of changes the author has made to his pay version in case you wanna know what had been added once he started charging.
