Awesome. I assume you can get the free episode without pre-ordering the whole package from just removing the other items in the cart and leaving the special code intact, right?

Don`t go crazy with this code guys; this is an independent studio. They have put a lot of work into this game.

...and they're freely giving away the first episode, which may as well be a demo for the full season.

They also intended to give it away as a special gift only to those people who bought the recent Back To the Future DVD releases, which is where the code is from. If not, they wouldn't have made a promo code for the offer, and would have just set the price to $0.00 by default.

@HolyMackerel The code is the same for every copy of the Blu-Ray re-release of the film. It's pretty obvious that they wanted to give the first episode away for free, along with the option to buy it.

Otherwise they would have put the code on their site news, in the Telltale newsletter, spread it on their forums, or perhaps even on the store page for the episode. Or done an In Rainbows/World of Goo and allowed you to choose the price from the outset.

I think they intended to make money out of the first episode, but give the DVD purchasers a nice bonus. Obviously didn't turn out that way though.

Is this game meant to be good? I've not heard much about it actually.

It looks pretty good, and judging from what they've done with the Monkey Island franchise recently, will be awesome.

I saw the game featured on GTTV. There was no gameplay shown but it still put a smile on my face.

All it'll do is force me to buy the whole season. With episodic games like this, I really want to continue with them. It's what happened to me with SBCG4AP.

I can't wait for the Jurassic Park one; JP is my favorite movie of all time. Still no details on that game yet.
