Idk, it just didn't have the appeal of the first one to me. The first one was new and you knew nothing about the characters, then the second game(like many other series) added characters or story that is to me unnecessary. I would also like to add, that it's pretty annoying that every environment Drake passes crumbles or falls apart just in the knic of time. I couldn't even get past the tutorial and train area because I already knew how to play and Drake walking around all hurt while it made me watch in the first part of the game without feeling like I had just wasted my money. I got past these things, but the environments and puzzles just seemed stupid even later on in the game.

Animal Crossing. I have only played the original GameCube version, but I gave it a worthwhile shot. I played it for several days, and I still don't understand the love for the game. Especially from people who give others crap for playing handhelds out in public rather than talking to people around you. Why play Animal Crossing then? That's all that game is...walking around and talking. Don't play that game when you can just live it by stepping out the door, man!

GTA series- absolute trash, rather play N64 Superman, no I'm not joking.
Smash Bros. - Not my style of game, but I see how it could be fun to others.
Sonic the Hedgehog- Can't tell you why, they just are not fun to me.
Persona series after PS1- Love weird JRPG's but so not my cup of tea.
Little Big Planet- How is this fun, seriously.
Everyone's crazy over Team Fortress 2, and while I see the appeal, it just wasn't for me at all - I was tired of it in a couple of hours, and hated prettty much all the classes. I still have a lot of respect for it, though. Same with Left4Dead and Call of Duty.
See that's what it's all about: play what you enjoy, and appreciate the fact that people like things for different reasons.
Beyond that, I think this thread is just depressing.
Resident Evil Revelations and Kid Icarus Uprising are probably the closest to this category for me. The former's demo had me believe that I would be playing as Jill exclusively, which is how I wanted to experience Revelations; however, the final product resulted in a story that was all over the place including playable characters. As for the latter, I still have yet to get over the game's sliding when turning, feel its features compete with each other rather than mesh well and really hate Pit's stamina. That said, I don't entirely dislike either game, as they both have their share of moments that I do enjoy. In Revelations, I like the Jill segments obviously and with Kid Icarus, I like the air segments and learning about characters, enemies, settings, etc through unlockable idols.

Kirby's Adventure (specifically), Crash Bandicoot, Assassin's Creed, Killzone, Alex Kidd, Kid Icarus, Halo, Star Fox, God of War, Sonic the Hedgehog, Max Payne, Gears of War, Rhythm Heaven, Hitman, Mass Effect, Uncharted and Grand Theft Auto, but to be brutally honest, I'll never understand how people can enjoy the Borderlands franchise.

Final Fantasy (series) - Just felt dull to me, and I don't appreciate the bullcrap rule additions in recent games that make it even harder to get into.
Monster Hunter (based off of 3DS demo and brief time with Wii game) - Bland as tofu.
Pokemon (series) - Decisions, decisions, TOO MANY F**KIN DECISIONS.
Theatrhythm - As stated earlier, I don't give a damn about Final Fantasy, and this is one of the blandest rhythm games ever made. Not really a full dislike, but bland.
Angry Birds - As I always say, this would be mediocre or below in my eyes if the creators weren't a pair of arrogant assclowns who need to lay off the superiority complex drugs. Since they are I despise the games beyond any other game I've played. Even Ninjabread Man, yes.

Screw you.
Mutant Mudds has some of the lamest 'n stock enemy design I've seen in a videogame in a long time. It also need Bosses, which thankfully will be appearing in the sequal. I agree though, the controls were tight, the score was pretty darn great and i absolutely loved the tough as nails challenge towards the end of the game. I wouldn't call it cheap by any means. There's nothing unfair with it's game design, it's about pixel precision timing, like it always has been with games like Ghosts 'n Goblins, Ninja Gaiden, mega man and what have you.
Still, MM gets more praise than it desserves.
I forgot about Mutant Mudds, so I'll add that in. Incredibly generic game. Never understood the difficulty complaints. Later on in the main game, I actually still found it to be pretty easy. Played much harder.
But those DLC levels, Jesus Christ. Corbie don't make a platformer. That's the definition of cheap level design. Every second you are made to guess whether it's a safe jump/boost until you have the whole damn thing memorized.

What do you like? Murder and genocide?
As far as I'm aware, there are no actions in a video game that allows a player to commit genocide. As for murder, a lot of those games I listed partake in senseless killing hour after hour and contain little to no meaning whatsoever.
I'm not one to be biases toward a game I never played, but I can't stand the Kingdom Heart series.
I couldn't even get into "The World Ends With You", felt like I was playing a chick-flix video game.
For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday. [url=http://www.backloggery.com/jumpmad]Unive...
Monster Hunter (based off of 3DS demo and brief time with Wii game) - Bland as tofu.
First off, the 3DS demo if far from indicative of the actual game. It is by far one of the worst demoes I've played, second only to the other Monster Hunter demoes out there. That is more down to the nature of the game, though. Monster Hunter's more about the feeling of growing stronger over time, and being immersed in a living world. You can't really convey those things in a demo that easily.
Monster Hunter Tri also eases you into the game, so the 1-star quests tend to be really easy, to the point where they just aren't fun. Monster Hunter's one you can't quite judge without putting a lot of time into it, though I can't blame you if you wouldn't want to give the game that kind of chance. It really is asking for a lot.
