Microsoft is expanding both their Games for Windows - LIVE service and Xbox LIVE's Games on Demand program, to include PC games into the service too.
Starting December 15, all Games for Windows - LIVE titles and most Games for Windows titles too will start becoming available for purchase through the Games for Windows - LIVE Client.
Launch titles will be Red Faction: Guerrilla, Resident Evil 5 and Battlestations Pacific, as well as LIVE-enabled versions of World of Goo and Osmos. To top the deal, Microsoft will be offering a LIVE-enabled version of Tinker, a game that was up until recently available only to customers of Windows Vista Ultimate (As an Ultimate extra), completely free of charge.
Games can be purchased either with a Credit Card or Microsoft Points, and are tied to your gamertag, not your computer. If you already have an Xbox LIVE Gamertag the same will work with Games for Windows - LIVE, and unlike Xbox LIVE, there are no Gold and Silver tiers on GFWL, all Gamertags can play and enjoy all the features of Games for Windows - LIVE free of charge.

Tinker has been confired to be a Games for Windows - LIVE game, meaning it will have LIVE connectivity, Achievements and gamerscore obviously.
Unofficial information reveals that the game will have 15 Achievements worth 200 Gamerpoints in total, so it would make it the first Games for Windows - LIVE Arcade title... perhaps, the LIVE version of Osmos and World of Goo will be "Arcade" too? (meaning 20 achievements at most worth 200 points)?

GFWL gamercard? remember you can use the same Gamertag for both Xbox LIVE and Games for Windows - LIVE, the only difference is the plattform you are using and that GFWL doesn't care about the Gold subscription ever since it became free lol

Yeah, but I already made a Games for Windows one a year ago for the Dawn of War II Beta(which I played once).I figure I might as well put it to good use while I can.
