I'd definitely buy an HD remake. I heard that Chrome made a 2D sequel on the Windows 8 store. I looked it up on the store and sure enough, I found it. I currently don't have enough money to purchase it, I believe it was $6.99. However, I want a true Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 4, a 3D for current gen consoles such as the Wii U and PS4. I believe the first three Ty games did best on Nintendo consoles with Sony at second. I might be wrong about that.

yeah, I got exited when I heard they were making ty 4, but was disappointed to see it was 2d. I have wanted them to make a new 3D ty game for a long time, and check every now and then to see if they have one in development.

I believe that Krome Sudios should pull a capcom and release a 3D sequel on the eShop/Playstation Store. With this, Krome can make a true sequel, one that fans have been waiting for and they can accomplish this with less money because they'll save what they would've spent on shipping it to retail stores and manufacturing the cases. It's better than nothing in my opinion.

Sounds like a No-brainer. I bet they would make quite a lot of cash with a sequel. But instead they released a 2D Ty on Windows?!? Why???

Buck Rogers: Countdown to Doomsday on the Mega Drive. Fantastic Scifi RPG. The MD version has a lot of content cut from it, but it made it simpler for me to get into. However the PC version can transfer saves to the sequal, nifty feature.

I read on the internet somewhere that Krome released the game on Windows to avoid competition with famous game Mascots such as Mario and Sonic. Also read that Krome is going to port the game to the Xbox stores on 360 and One. I believe the reason is still the same. To avoid competition with other game mascots. It makes sense, Microsoft doesn't have a mascot...right? I actually don't know now that I think about it.

@BinaryFragger: Oh wow I never knew that Kung Fu Heroes was part of the same series as those two games. I do remember seeing the Gameboy games in video game magazines but I never played them. Dang all this talk about them and now I want to go back and play them lol.

if they release it on xbox I'll probably get it, I just think they could do so much more with that series. Also, that sonic boom trailer reminded me of TY, maybe the gameplay will be more like a ty type game.

If Sonic Boom turns out to be a type of collect-a-thon game like Jak and Daxter and Ty the Tasmanian Tiger then I'd die of happiness! I'm really hoping that the collect-a-thon "genre" is revitalizing! So far we're going to get A Hat in Time and Lobodestroyo. Also, I don't have an Xbox so I'm stuck with the Windows version...

I remember Ty the Tasmania Tiger! If only because of its advertising in Nintendo Power, where a bunch of other Mascots were in the bandages after Ty put them in the hospital. Kinda backfired, since it couldn't really stand up to them in the reviewer's eyes, so it just made it seem pretentious to a young me at the time.

The greatest multiplayer game you'll ever play.

Apparently, this game sold pretty horribly. This game is amazing, though. Not only did I just enjoy creating microgames, but it also taught me some of the basics of programming. (Well, I think it did)

Not first party, but still, this game just never really got a community, which I think is a shame. I really enjoy building my own coasters. There is a website for sharing QR codes, but the last time it was updated was sometime last summer.

oh yeah, watched it on YouTube awhile back. I think Ty could be just as popular as Sonic if they really sunk some cash into a 3d game. Then again, they could remaster the previous games and pickup some great sales.

I've spent sooo many hours making those micro games, I really want a 3ds or Wii U sequel.

Bust-a-Move '99 (AKA Puzzle Bobble 3) — One of my first puzzle games, and still my favorite. Its presentation and amount of content are impeccable, its characters are well-animated and not really irritating, its tweaks to the classic formula are highly compelling, and I don't need prodigious processing- and thumb speed to play it. Oh, and the localization is so barebones it feels like an import! Puzzle Bobble 4 just might be even better (I've played only a demo of that game, and I sure do love it), but after that one the series hasn't quite reached the same lofty heights.

I'm going to mention Dr. Mario 64 as well, since it seems to have been forgotten in the wake of the downloadable titles with their literally clinical presentation. The Wario Land 3 characters, story mode, and even backgrounds make a huge difference! I say the game should be on Virtual Console.
