Activision (essentially the Sith/Empire of the video game industry)
Square-Enix (funny considering I thought Squaresoft and Enix were both great separately...)
Epic Games (I wonder if they even remember what the Unreal series was)
Crapcom (closed Clover, cancelling games, blaming fans, and releasing multiple versions of the same game in more series than just Street Fighter now)

Activision - (Curse you for drenching this world with Call of Duty....GTA aside, COD is probably my other most hated franchise.)

the main reason why ubisoft have been profitable as a company is because of the huge sales of just dance and assassins creed. 20 years ago, they were nowhere near as big as they are now today. just dance is ok- if you like dancing games or a bit of fun, other than that, meh. assassins creed should be on the wii U. all their other franchises are forgettable.

as for activision, i'll pass on them. i don't care for COD either.

EA- Since they're a big publisher, they hardly progress in innovation; they gave gamers a bad image to the public and pretty much stereotyped us thanks to this; they give indie developers a hard time and take their intellectual property. I know they're trying to play it safe, but they can do better than now.

whenever i think of EA, it is that they are more known for their sports games. but that is the problem: it seems that by focusing on making just sports games and not other types of games as well, they think this will do their image a lot of good.

EA needs to branch out more.

Rayman to me is Ubi's only solid franchise, what they did with the original 2D-Rayman on the PSX was pretty fantastic. It was quite the magical and uplifting experience and i hold that game dear to my funky heart based on the earlier PSX days when i actually liked the PSX.

As for Assasins creed, I've never played nor will i ever. It just doesn't interest me....As far as realism goes(which i rarely like to begin wtih unless it's Japanese based horror games like Resident Evil or Silent Hill ect ect) in videogames, it just doesn't interest me whatsoever....Especially stuff that's sports based, flight sims, racing sims, FPS's like COD, GTA....It's what i loathe about the gaming industry big time.

Anyways, have you tried the new Rayman out? Look pretty amazing.
And as for EA I don't care for most of their titles eaither....Dead Space:Extraction bored the hell out of me.....Sure it rocked a great presentation, voice overs and graphics and nice interactive-movie styled gameplay if that floats you bogus boat, but i for one found it pretty boring. I had to force myself to keep playing, but i ended up calling it quits more than mid way through.

I don't know, i just hate most developers who aren't Japanese, there are a few exceptions like WayForward and Retro Studios and maybe a couple of others, but fort he most part i can't stand most of them.

Ya...MotoHeroez is the only title on that list that mildy interests me.
The new Rayman however looks radically awesome....I'm suprised Ubi nailed it out of the park with that one.

Ew, THQ is awful....The last THQ title i played was Deadly Creatures.....The coolest thing about that game was the title screen.lol Mediocrity sums up that one pretty nicely. Money well wasted, but i ended up selling it on eBay and practically getting the money back that i payed for it later on hehe.

THQ are another company where their success solely lies mainly in WWE games. i prefer their old logo over their current one.
