I don't watch Let's Players. If I'm interested in a game then I'll play it. Usually their comments aren't witty or insightful enough to substantiate watching hours of gaming. |:
Except The Yogscast. They are amazing, but then they aren't really LPers either.
@BC Let's Play. People who play through games, usually with commentary.
QUEEN OF SASS
It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!
In what way aren't The Yogcast LPers? Their Minecraft series (Shadow of Israphel in particular) is a fine example at any rate. I haven't got round to looking through their other videos properly, but I've seen them play Fable 3 and Magicka as well(with together with fellow LPer TotalBiscuit - Highly recommended.
Otherwise, I'm currently watching the various Let's Plays of One F Jef Jefmajor. He's indirectly introduced me to several interesting games through his LPs.
Finally, Captnduck was my visual introduction to Dwarf Fortress. If you ever fancy playing Dwarf Fortress, watch his videos first. Then watch Jefmajor's. He has several series, in fact.
For fans of the written word, check out the Let's Play Archive. It's like Youtube Let's Plays. But with words!
Footnote. I was going to share commentator JX23 with you all, but he's dissapeared off the face of the internet. And judging by the whispers, he ain't coming back. I'll really miss watching his videos...
Vash12349,he's HILARIOUS, plays a bunch of different games and gives tips that are actually helpful. My second favorite would definitely be Chuggaconroy, he makes me laugh every now and then and I like his commentary. It's not too annoying.
My favourite is Helloween. However, I also watch the Yogscast.
Sean Aaron ~ "The secret is out: I'm really an American cat-girl." Q: How many physicists does it take to change a light bulb? A: Two, one to hold the light bulb, the other to rotate the universe.
Whoever does Freeman's Mind, certainly an unique Let's Play. It's a mix of a comedy machinima and a let's play. He plays through Half Life giving his own commentary as if he actually was Gordon Freeman. Definitely unique. [youtube:7J80KD4BG7M]

@Swiket You might want to update your post to say: "Not safe for work. Not safe for children. Not for the easily offended. Not safe for those who value their mental cleanliness. Definitely not safe to watch parts 2 and 3." o__O
