What about a VR fireplace?! Would actually be kind of cool for Little Inferno, actually. It would be pretty immersive, too. (Sit in front of a real fireplace for even more immersion!)

Hahah there's ALREADY fake fireplaces, my friend. Those ALREADY exist. There actually are fake fireplaces that give off the illusion that its a real fire.
I own a Wii U and 3DS. I also own a PS4!

I'd like to believe that last bit was a joke, but I could honestly see people doing that. XD

Am I the only one here who is actually interested in the Oculus Rift? I'm kind of surprised at how many people here didn't even seemed interested in the first place...
I tried it at the SXSW Gaming Expo, and it was pretty cool.
I never really cared about what Oculus Rift was doing, for the most part. I kind of get why people would want it, but my opinion was that they didn't really have any sense of direction while developing it. There's different versions, so that's the first sign that shows they don't really know how they want a completed product to work, or they're just wasting money.
Facebook could potentially be a bigger platform, but so could anything, these days...

There's only two versions. The 1.0 version and the new. HD model. They're Dev kits in the first place so its the same as getting a new Dev kit from Nintendo to replace the old one.
WAT!

This was from a Polygon article:
"Overall, it’s going to be a better product at a lower price," Oculus founder Palmer Luckey told Polygon.
They also said it's still going to focus on gaming. So unless Facebook decides to go all evil on them this is just going to end up making the Oculus even better!

As if he would say "You guys are rightfully worried, we're totally scaling back on the gaming side of things"
