My game collection:Wii Sports,Star Wars The Force Unleashed,Link`s Crossbow Training,Golden Compass,Battalion Wars 2,Dirt 2,Equilibrio,World of Goo,Madworld and Deadly Creatures.
I've only played the first two and I'm not particulary good at them. I can make a bit of progress in the first one, but I always end up getting my a** kicked in Solid Snake. I've managed to make it inside the building a few times but not too often!
Because I was rolling my eyes the whole way through. It read like a first year English major trying to flex his literary muscles. I'm sure the rest of the site is fine, though.
"The government of the United States is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion."
You did only read the ending, that's hardly basis to judge the whole thing and want to beat up the guy...>_>

Oh, I never said I was passing judgment on the whole site. I don't really have the inclination to plow through all of it but I'm sure it could be a great resource. I was only talking about that one part.

Ah, sorry, fair enough then. =P But yeah, like I said, the guy does go a bit far with some stuff (like the political things he added in that conclusion) but a lot of it is really good. The main part I 100% agree on is the connection between Raiden, the player, and Snake. The relationship between the three is really brilliant and why I love MGS2 so much.

For those of you looking for a laugh, hiimdaisy's Let's Destroy Metal Gear comic series is AMAZINGLY FUNNY and bitingly accurate. They cover the full stories of the first three MGS games. Here's the full list:
Okay, I remember I first got into the series when I was little with the original Metal Gear Solid and the music when you got caught scared the hell out of me. Seriously, I would always run into the guards and hear the alert sound and nearly jump out of my chair. Scariest game I played as a kid besides Batman Returns for the SNES.
Many years later I played Twin Snakes and realized how great the original was. Beaten it 3 times, going for my 4th. Still have yet to get the Otacon ending, but will eventually. I then got MGS2 and liked it significantly less. So unrealistic and out there that it almost hurt. I tried so much to like it, but it just wasn't... good. :/
Other than that I've only played parts of Peace Walker and MGS4. The rest of the series I've never even touched. D:
“The revolution is not an apple that falls when it is ripe. You have to make it fall.” - "Some men are born mediocre, some men achieve mediocrity, and some men have mediocrity thrust upon them."
I can understand it not being to everyone's tastes, but it's a great spin-off series that sort of fits the TRPG elements along with the series stealthy approach.
As for PSO:E3, that sucks for the fans who are so loyal to the MMO series, but then again, this is SEGA we're talking about.
I love Metal Gear Solid! I've played through and beat every game. Except the psp and nes ones. I love the story through out the series. Except 2. I'm sorry, like many I just couldn't get into it. Still a fun game though. I love the music and sneaking around the guards was fun. This is definitely one of my favorite video game series ever.
I'd never played any of the Metal Gear games before, so I downloaded Metal Gear Solid from PSN about a week ago, and I ****ing love it. I can't wait until I finish it and move on to the rest of the series.
