Okay people, just leave it alone. You don't need to bring me down for what I said. It was uncalled for and I changed it. Maybe comment on this interesting forum topic, not just on what I said. Frig people.
And yet still you keep trying to absolve yourself from guilt instead actually learning your lesson here, which is that a forum is not a vacuum, and anything you say can come back to bite you - so choose your words carefully (I know I did).

I see I am still getting heat for what I said last night. I want to make one final comment to hopefully clear the air, then I am going to move on and forget about this.
I love both Nintendo Life and Push Square and the vast majority of the time I do think twice about anything that I post. Last night I said something stupid. I was going to come back and edit that comment out, but by the time I came back a user had already criticized me for what I said. I want to be clear though that my comment was not targeting or attacking any specific user on this site. My girlfriend has a friend (who is not a user) who buys everything the day it comes out, gleefully admits that she never beats anything, and then complains about money being tight. That was the genesis of my comment about not finishing games. It was stupid to mention as it did not pertain to the topic at hand.
Clearly I offended a lot of users last night/today as they came here just to jump on me, not contribute to the actual topic of the forum. I am sorry I bothered you, but that is the final thing I am going to say on the matter. I have better things to do with my time then defend myself to faceless users on a video game website.
To the user who started this topic, I am sorry. Sorry that what should have been an interesting discussion on a great topic has turned into this because of me.
My game library ranges from Mario Kart to Call of Duty to Tales of Xillia to Diablo 3 to Forza. To me gaming is about having fun - not blindly supporting only one company while thumbing your nose at "the evil other systems."
Playing a game and just not finishing isn't wasting money. Being like me and owning more than twice the amount of RPG that I've beat is closer to that(can't turn down that major discount on a good RPG).. I do finish a game when I start, usually in one go without other games intervening, but I have big backlog and RPG's take the most time to finish. I'm still catching up on a lot of RPG's accross all platforms.

Apologizing like he did, should be good enough.
That was not an apology. An apology means that you've learned your lesson.
