sigh not going to argue again, since you all seem to think it's a "pointless" debate.

But you are wrong, according to the actual law, as opposed to your immagination.

For the record I think your probably right (although I'm not sure I agree with using the same Character design, but whatever),it just seemed to me to be going in circles,is all.
Anyhow got to chapter 11 last night and its still getting better I'm loving the combat now I'm upgraded quite a bit.Button mashing certainly doesn't work very well in the latter chapters and you really need to consider your attack / defend patterns.
The introduction of Piggsy really helped change the mood of the game with some rather funny humour and I like how the cutscenes are quite subtle and not overblown a la God of War etc.
Hoping to finish it this week before going through it again on Hard.

What's this bit for again?

I feel it needed a bit more polish and refinement...there's quite a lot of chug, slowdown, texture pop in, and it just takes you out of the experience. The loading screens suck too...where there even any in Uncharted except when you booted it up? It takes longer to load and yet still works far worse...they need to explain what the hell happened.

Completed it last night. The ending was kinda leftfield but overall I really enjoyed the tale, which was ,lets be honest, the main focus of the game. Its the first game in a long time that has made me wanna play through it straight away again.Gonna finish it on hard then its e-bay bound, its a pretty disposable game but I like that about it and I've gotta look at those grapics one more time (shallow? me? ).
I would love to see a sequel which used the tatics available to a greater extent and more platforming/jumping levels with the same danger as the last two levels. The ending left the story wide open for a sequel as well so fingers crossed.

Really? I find hardly any replay value in it after beating it. The whole game needed a spit shine, which it didn't get. The fixed camera angle fought with me a lot...and sometimes it would switch mid-jump and totally throw me off. Sometimes Monkey wouldn't respond to commands and controls, the animation for him running into things took 3 seconds for him to recover. I could scale a wall 00 feet high but couldn't climb over a 5 foot high junk pile. The texture pop in was distracting, and would still be loading when I started playing.

I feel the visual designs are much better than the graphics themselves...the waterfalls were pitiful. They need to learn a thing or two from Naughty Dog and Insomniac. Uncharted 2 graphics put this to shame and that's over a year old.
