Will there be any hopes of a new Starfox or Metroid game? I know Retro can handle a Metroid game but what about Starfox? Granted I've never played Starfox but I'm gonna get and the fact that Nintendo has made a series suited for hardcore gamers, why can't they just make a new Star Fox game?
Over the last few years, Nintendo have been focused on using IP that sells huge numbers, and neither Metroid or Star Fox are one of those. I think we might see a change this year however, as they seek to win back their own fans with titles like these and maybe even F-Zero. Well, either that or they go even further down the route they're currently taking and we get even more Mario and more mini game compilations.
No end. They will find opportunities for them but titles like these you're looking at years before the next round and sometimes they may skip a generation. That's because these are what I call "slot titles" they really have to come across the right slot in their planning for them I suspect, unlike their rotation titles. But they are not "ended"
