There is no word that the Wii U version has cancelled, just a random post from someone on that forum. It was never fully confirmed that Dreamfall Chapters was coming to the Wii U, just that Nintendo has reached out to Red Thread Games and were discussing it. It should be noted that it hasn't been confirmed for any console yet, but I feel at PS4 port is likely if sales of the PC version are strong enough, and the same goes for the Wii U.
This is the only project I've ever backed on Kickstarter, so I really hope they make a Wii U version at some point.
