I', still pretty active in the Dreamcast community and still play my Dreamcast possibly more than any other console. Was just wondering if there is anyone else on this site that is still playing their Dreamcast on a regular basis.

I need one so badly. If I can find a Sega Saturn at a pawn shop then I can find a Dreamcast at a pawn shop. Also I found a Genesis with a Sega CD for only $40!! Why can't I find a Dreamcast???

Favorite Games: Sonic CD, Sonic 3 and Knuckles, Kirby Nightmare in Dreamland, and Call of Duty: Black Ops, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game, and Mega Man 5.

9.) Evolution

I bought this game recently had played it on the neo goe pocket and really liked it, but for some reason on DC it seems to crash a lot and there isn't a scratch on the disc and other games seem to work fine, was just wondering if it was a buggy version in general do you know? just annoying that I can't play it without the game constantly freezing on me at some point :/

I got mine Christmas of '99 and still play it to this day! Lately I have been playing through Shenmue, because I always heard about it but never played it myself. Grandia II was my first real RPG other than Pokemon, and is my favorite RPG even today.

I've had a similar issue with various other games but most notably "Xenogears" on the Playstation. I still have the bugged copy around here somewhere. I'm not entirely sure what is causing it. If the game was pre-owned then it could be a number of things like sun, heat damage or even the improper use of cleaning products on the disc. I remember one of my mates tripping over the wire to my controller and knocked the Game Cube off of the shelf while I was playing "Sonic Mega Collection." The game appears to be undamaged from the incident but generates this message:

"An error has occured. Turn the power off and refer to the Nintendo GameCube™ instruction booklet for further instructions."

There is no way of knowing what the exact problem with the disc is outside of suffering a fall that appears to have left the disc's physical condition unscathed.

Guess it must be damaged then did get past the part it would freeze at only to have it freeze at another spot later oh well, Grandia 2 looks like it will be my next game to get on dreamcast I think; though steam sales are kind of distracting me from it for now.

Not buying Evolution 2 for it sadly its £199 on amazon used and the cheapest it is on ebay is £65 so way too much, that's $310 and $101 in US money, definitely would have liked to play it though, maybe the GC version might work out cheaper if so might just get it on that.

I still play it occasionally. My most-played games include Crazy Taxi, Sonic Adventure, Hydro Thunder, Rush 2049, and Virtua Tennis.

I haven't been online in about a year. I loaded up some Quake 3 a year or so ago and killed some bots online for a bit. No sign of life.

I bought one about a year ago for 20 dollars at a local retro game store. Haven't bought any games for it yet since I have been working on my N64 and SNES collection. Soon here I might pick up a few games just not to knowledgeable with Dreamcast games since I never owned one.

Looking through my collection of Dreamcast games, I found I only got the first disk for Grandia II when my uncle gave me my DC. Does anyone know where I can grab Disk 2 for cheap?

still playing it, of course, I've been playing it on daily basis for 12 years — but I have sadly noticed that Dreamcast games have gone up in price during the last 2 or 3 years.

Top-10 games I played in 2017: The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild (WiiU) - Rogue Legacy (PS3) - Fallout 3 (PS3) - Red Dead Redemption (PS3) - Guns of Boom (MP) - Sky Force Reloaded (MP) - ...
