Hello good people, I was at my local Toys R Us store this afternoon right after watching District 9 and I picked up a copy of Dragon Quest VIII for $10 a brand new copy. I just wanted to pass that along, man I can't wait to play it I can't believe I never picked it up years ago.

Is it a good game?
I have trouble finishing games.

I just started and I am liking it so far, my friend you played it back in 04 or 05 (when it came out) loves it and he says it is very good game and enjoyable. With it being $10 for new copy you can really go wrong.

I enjoyed Dragon Quest VIII very much. I need to play through it again sometime, as it's been a couple of years since I beat it originally.

God, I love this game! It is one of my favorite RPGs of all time! I might as well start a new play through because it will be quite some time before we get Dragon Quest IX here in the United States.

Not to mention Dragon Quest X on the Wii...we won't see that till 2011 or so. They take long but it looks like they are all worth it.
PS2 (my other favorite system).

Heh heh, one of my many, many unopened PS2 games. From what I have seen of the game, it looks and sounds great.
I probably would have started it years ago had I ever finished Dragon "Warrior" VII, but I picked it up/dropped it a couple of times...I'm somewhere in the 85 hour range and needing to level just to beat a boss...and still on Disc 1.

Ah, Dez, when are you going to send me all your unopened games? Someone has to play them.
Come on, friends,
To the bear arcades again.

So do the enemies level up as well as you do? I know in certain RPG games they do.
