It's a new MMO released less than a month ago, it's based around Super Heroes and the idea behind it is you can look however you like unaffected by gear and you can mix and match powers as you please. This gives you an opportunity to be truely unique which many other MMO's lack. The amount of customization in this game is staggering. It's not just for show though, what you create will act and feel the way you have envisioned it.

Combat is fluid and more action based than the average mmo, fully supports the 360 controller if one wishes to play with that(I do, and it beats the mouse/keyboard combination by far). It does away with mounts since you very early on, literally about an hour after you make your character you get to choose from 10-12 or so travel powers like super speed, flight, ice-gliding, teleport etc.

The game is classless you make your character how you want it to be and can mix through all the powers available (with only minor limitations). Which means if you want to be a tank healer with powerarmor, summons and ability to throw cars around you're free to do so.

Anyways, just wanted to share some thoughts about this game, I've had it for soon a week now and it's alot of fun. The game only has one server basically which means Europe, US etc can play together. My only gripe is that it's quite buggy at this time, but we get patches almost every other day so it's cool. The game is so fun I don't even think of the bugs, so they're definately not gamebreaking.

If you decide to try it out, hook me up and we'll do some villain bashing, perhaps we could even start a Nintendolife super hero group(guild) If you have any questions feel free to ask.

I bought the game thinking my computer would play it on the lowest settings but its so laggy I don't even try. It looks good, but I'm taking my hat out of the MMO scene for a while. I played COH for 2 years and it feels like more of a hassle than fun to play MMOs now.

It's an MMO... once bought, is it free to play, or do I have to pay to play, on top of the game's price? because if it's free, I might get it now, Steam has been tempting me to get it lol... but if a monthly fee is required, I'll wait for the game to lower it's price before even thinking buying it...

Affirmative, it's pay to play. Although, once buying the game you get the first month for no charge, if that's what's holding you back.
