Topic: do you think that another modern warefare game is going to be released?

i can say with absolute confidence that they will make a next one because i looked at the ending of modern warefare 2.

Wait until 2011, it will most likely happen. Infinity Ward does the Modern Warfare series, and their next Call of Duty game is due in 2011.

Of course they'll make another one. The franchise has more teenage wallets to aim for.

Whatever sells gets made. That's just the rule.

I wanter to see an unmodern warefare game. We could be cavemen and beat the crap out of people with wooden clubs or some different time period that may have more exciting warefare

I am guess there will be. The series has reached that pinnacle to where they are going to milk it as long as they can. As long as they can keep up the quality of the games I do not see why not.

Will there be a sequel to one of the fastest selling games of all time? Categorically YES!! That's like asking if there will be another Mario game. DAFT THREAD!!

I don't think that it is one of the fastest selling. I'm pretty sure it holds the title for the absolute fastest selling game of all time.

So on and so on. Activision will milk the Call of Duty franchise almost as much as Guitar Hero so they'll probably be one of Activision's last franchises shortly before they die.

Now that I think about it, I think that they just opened a new studio for Call of Duty. There might be three years now.

@RandomWiiPlayer: If it will take three years instead of just two, then good for them. It'll give them the chance to improve on the 2nd Modern Warfare game (And it'll be one of our so-called doomsday games). Not to mention it won't be nearly as milked again.

But if that is true, where will Treyach's Call of Duty future be?

Of Course there will. Also Infinity Ward said that Modern Warfare from here on is its own franchise that is independent from Call of Duty, they actually considered not even putting Call of Duty on the box but did, really small too
I hope they continue the incredible sequels. Ive already dropped over 48 hrs into the online by itself and have no intentions of stopping anytime soon. Its so incredibly balanced and so many different playstyles, it just doesnt get old. Map Packs and then Sequels.
