Do you remember the 3DO from Panasonic? Wiki It is actually amazing to look into yesteryear and see some of the consoles that have come and go. I was able to play a Panasonic built 3DO of a friend of mine. The only game we played was Road Rash 3D. A game I later purchased for my Sega Saturn, I wish I would of kept that console!

Corbie if you want one I know a place for you to get one and a few games in Virginia if your ever around and its still there, which it probably will still be there
@Corbie: I am sorry to bring up past tense negative emotions, what can I do to make it up?

3DO - yeah it lacked games games games. But who could forget Star Control II! If you have not played it, you can play a very close translation on PC called UrQuan Masters. I have nothing but fond memories of the 3DO for that reason alone. It is truly a masterpiece. A timeless classic in every area; plot, characters, music, mood and dimension, creativity, vastness. Ziiiiyeeeeee! Anyone every play? If so, who's your fav. race of alien? I gotta take the Umgah - they play tricks on other alien races. Great personalities.
Back when the 3DO was first released it was very expensive. Since all the media seemed to think it was going to be the "next big thing" I sold my Super Nintendo system and almost 50 games to buy one. Needless to say, after playing the 3DO for about 6 months, with the only highlight being Gex if that tells you anything, I finally admitted defeat and sold it to friend (poor guy didn't see it coming) and re-bought a Super Nintendo and started my collection all over again. I cringe every time I even see the word 3DO to this very day. I honestly don't hate any game system EXCEPT the 3DO.
Sean Aaron ~ "The secret is out: I'm really an American cat-girl." Q: How many physicists does it take to change a light bulb? A: Two, one to hold the light bulb, the other to rotate the universe.
I honestly thought about adding a 3DO to my collection since I basiclaly have almost every other game system known to man, but I just can't bring myself to buy one. I just can't.
