The opening cinematic was revealed last night during the VGAs. In case you missed you can view the video below.

I cant wait for this one to come out. Its about time that Blizz brought out the next chapter in the Diablo series, and I am glad that I will be getting this game for free.

The auction house seems a little weird to me especially since you can use real money on it to buy stuff but other than that it looks like its going to be good.

So what are some of your thoughts?

If the rest of the game was as badass as that trailer, I would be very excited for this game. However, nothing I have seen from this game game-play-wise makes me excited. I honestly think that Torchlight 2 will be the better game... Perhaps the story in Diablo 3 will be good...?

WOOOOT Evil is back in one week. I am getting it free due to the WoW Annual Pass so as soon as it goes live I will post my server and characters name here.

Diablo 3.. I might consider since it is Mac compatible... But I dunno.. I'll hold off...

Yeah I need to check my BL more often. Not sure if I will actually play alot next weeks since I have a couple of finals next week but I will at least pop on to make my characters and check stuff out for a bit.

This game looks phenomenal. I'll be getting it as soon as I can after release and as cheap as I can find.

I think I am looking forward to Torchlight 2 more. I feel that Diablo 3 will be very disappointing and some of the core gameplay changes made in the past few months (Why are they still making such huge changes this close to release? Nevermind that they have already thrown out their "until it's ready attitude".) that are very questionable and seem too limiting.

Torchlight? Pah. You'll soon find out what the better game is.

It's a shame Diablo III isn't coming to any consoles, because I would buy it if it did.

For those of you who had a change to play the beta: Is there the capacity to "Low Level Duel"? LLD was what held my attention the most in D2 and I built PVP-specific characters to duel in the level 18 and level 30 niches.

Just found out that if you preordered the game through Blizzard's site or are getting D3 through the WoW AP you can install the game now so you will be ready to play at Midnight PST.

The one that allows you to play a single-player game offline? The one with PVP combat?

The one that won't require a G-dly computer to run?

I downloaded the game last night and played a little of it in the morning- neat game from a first impression. Glad I played TL so I won't be totally lost. Just wish I can diable blood and gore- it's a real turn off for me and unnecessary..

So it looks like Diablo III will be making its way to Sony's systems. Both a PS3 and PS4 version have been announced.
