Nintendo will probably do a direct around the same time of TGS as they've always have. Looking forward to hopefully seeing some next gen stuff by Japanese developers. I'm really interested in what Microsoft Studios Japan is working/collaborating on. They're rumored to have two teams working on games, Crimson Dragon is planned to be turned into a franchise, and I heard a few Cave guys left for the studio.
Also there's a rumor that Japan Studio is working with other developers on JRPGS which is always a good thing. I'm guessing this is also going to be the big moment to see if the Last Guardian isn't dead.
Nintendo hasn't been there in a while, IIRC. And is it just me, or is this a much smaller showing than usual? Should've clicked the link, that's actually a bit bigger than last time.

TGS has been shrinking for a while due to the Japanese industry becoming smaller. It doesn't help that Nintendo just has its own event the same week, and there ws the one year where Level-5 decided to host its own show the same week as well.
But the new consoles are going to breath life into the conference.
WAT!

I want Kojima and Konami to acknowledge that MGS V exists on a platforms other than Xbox.
Other than that, not really too sure what to expect from TGS. I'd actually probably be more interested in the Nintendo Direct if one is planned for the same time.
iirc Microsoft has announced absolutely nothing regarding their plans for the Xbox One release across Japan, so they'll probably outline their rollout strategies. It'll either be magnificently inspired or hilariously misguided
always thought I'd change to Gyarados after I turned 20 but hey, this is more fitting I guess. (also somebody registered under the original Magikarp name and I can't get back to it anymore orz)
MS actually tried with the 360 in Japan and I think early on, they're going to do the same with Xbox One. If it has much of an effect or not is up in the air, but I don't think they're going to halfa$$ it.

Well Isn't the PS4 not coming to Japan till 2014?
