So it seems the initial shipment of the PS3 version of Dead Space 2 will include Extraction for free and then the next shipment won't. I'd say a later PSN release is likely.
That's certainly an interesting development.

Yeah EA is giving the finger to MS which I'm finding amusing. They also did it with Medal of Honor. If you buy it you get a second game from them too, the best of the last gen MOH games 'Frontline' done up with the usual refinements and high def output. I'll be grabbing both. Unless you just have to get on your inexcusably stupid pay multiplayer service with the 360, the PS3 on is where it's at because at the least you're getting 2 games for $60 in each box.

Well you don't need to preorder to get it, but it might be worth it. Could be in high demand!

Cool bonus. I had Extraction then sold it, but wouldn't mind replaying it in HD for free with DS2. Double-game bundles like this and Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Athena (which had Butcher Bay as well) are genius and should be done more often.

Always glad to see a game find a bigger audience, but who cares about Playstation Move? It's outdated AND overpriced motion technology (That glowing orb isn't high tech people). Besides you could buy Dead Space Extraction on the Wii six times over for the same price as PS3 Move. It's almost the price of a new Wii. It's a pathetic "me too" attempt to capture and cash in on the Wii's leftovers for the PS3, why get excited about that? I'll at least give Xbox Kinect credit for using new technology to incorporate their motion control. Until they get serious about building a new gaming library I don't care about Move.
To be fair, it's only $50(less than a PS3 game), and if there's enough games you want for it, why not? Hell, I might even get one if they release a Time Crisis collection (or anything containing Time Crisis 2).
@Waveboy.... dang man now that you put the RE4 Wii in my head that really might be a great thing. I did really like the controls in Dead Space, but thinking about it, it really could be great in there. Mainly what I was talking about is racing games, Uncharted, etc.
@Mickey.... YES.... it has been confirmed to have controls with Dualshock and I guess for kicks and giggles some form of Dualshock MotionControl as well.
MOVE is definately one step beyond WiiMote. Its being seen more and more if you have done your research. The best way to explain it is that with MOVE its more of a realistic feel and approach to gaming much like Kinect is with body movements instead of buttons and the Wii is more of a motion=button press.

My joke thread got locked, but this clearly isn't free. Unless you are a marketer, don't advertise it as such, because it's really disappointing to see these titles and then find out that it's actually "free with a $60 purchase".... ie: NOT FREE AT ALL.

But you're not paying extra. It's still being given away at no extra cost to you. I was going to buy Dead Space 2 anyways. Now I get another game alongside it at no extra cost, to people who would actually play it, since it's assumed you're buying DS2 because you're a fan of the series.
