Well, I've toyed with the idea for a while and I've posted here in the past with some ideas, but it looks like I finally figured out to do Let's Plays from my computer. So what better game to start with than VVVVVV?

Three episodes up on my channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/FelixDeckett) with more to follow of course. Constructive criticism is encouraged. I'm already aware that my volume was recording too high, so I'll fix that for the next episode and beyond. Sorry. :/

Beyond this I think I'm going to do some No Damage Runs of the Mega Man games. Not full games most likely, as they're insanely hard, but I'll try to No Damage Run as many stages as I can.

Hopefully this will be a good replacement for the live streams. The video quality is obviously much better, and it'll be archived for all eternity for folks who want to watch.

Suggestions and recommendations welcome. Fireplacing is next, of course.

I let the F-bomb fly once, I think. I'm trying to avoid profanity for the sake of profanity, but if a certain game manages to squeeze some out of me, so be it.

If you really don't want to hear any, avoid my Mega Man runs for sure.

I've only watched the first part so far, but I thought I thought I would throw a bit of advice for recording video. Mainly for games that are a bit more graphic intensive and may not give you the greatest frame rates as-is, you should record on a second hard drive. It basically means that your computer is not limited by the speed of your hard drive since it has to read and write to the same drive. Hard drives are slow. So if you continue to record a lot of stuff, you will get a much smoother experience and video with a second hard drive.

It was good for a first Let's Play. I dunno, I have no opinion of any Let's Player unless they've been doing them for a while as they tend to be tolerable (at best) at first.

I'm clearly bored though, check the comments for pt. 2.

Whoa you're saying that it's worth like $50?

Anyway, nice video. I still need to get this game. :3

It's a great game. I think I meant to say that I would have been happy to pay $20 for it. If I misspoke and said $50...well, oops. But it's absolutely worth way more than what I got it for during the Steam sale.

Thanks again for your comments. I probably won't be doing any Let's Plays of graphically intensive games...I'll probably stick to the Mega Mans and such of the world.
