Well this hacking is just getting out of hand. Bioware has announced that their Neverwinter Nights forums have been the latest victim of hackers, and once again personal info was stolen.
I dont know what is up with all these attacks but its starting to get scary. I dont know if its like one group going nuts or a bunch of groups. Whatever is going on these companies need to get on the ball and stop these hackers.

wait, what did Bioware do to deserve this? Even compared to the other gaming related companies hacked?
The guys doing the hacking (lulzsec) seem to think that hacking these companies reveals to the company their security flaws, allowing them to fix the problem before it happens by someone truly bad.
It's the rhetoric they're on about - how much of that their actually believe I have no idea, but they've hacked a few companies they seem to have genuine affection for - Nintendo and Bethesda for instance.
The only gaming company that's been hacked so far that the hackers seem to hate is Sony. Shows how little they know about the world (Sony's a company, not better or worse than the others), but that's people and the Internet for you.
For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday. [url=http://www.backloggery.com/jumpmad]Unive...
they're after big-name companies, Rob_mc_1. if they start hacking news sites, who'll be left to report their exploits?

I dont know I read in quite a few places that Lulzsec have been taking person info as well and that they were the ones behind the Sony attack. The reason for Sony was because the went after that one hacker and prosecuted him. Now whether thats true or not I cant say maybe people are just pointing the finger at them but as I said alot of places are saying that.

not really, the purpose given from hackers changes depending on what month it is
next month it'll be "for the lulz" or "freedom of speech" or "they deserved it for vague reasons" or something similar
