Actually, he's right. Level-5 published the Guild01 games on the NA eShop.
Source?
I'm not saying that is wrong, however, unless Level-5 handled the publicity for those releases (or recruited a PR firm to handle it), they didn't publish it.
I was under the impression that Nintendo handled the publishing.
Edit - according to the reviews on this site the review copies were provided by Level-5. I stand corrected, looks like they are publishing in the West.
That said, Layton, White Knight Chronicles and Ni No Kuni are not published by Level-5 in the west, and therefore don't count for the purposes of this thread.
It's ok. They only recently opened up an American branch less than a year ago. I think those eShop titles are the only ones published by the American branch.
Lessee...mine are Nintendo and Ubisoft
Tell you what, Level-5's growth in such a short time is amazing (the company's only been around since the PS2 era, and it's already a top-10 games company in Japan).
Being able to open an American office is in itself impressive.
I wouldn't exactly call Liberation Maiden or Crimson Shroud minigames, at least in the traditional sense.
I was being hyperbolic - sorry if that didn't come through.
The point I was making was between the three Level-5 published games in the west, there's about 10 hours worth of gameplay (unless you're one of those folks that plays games over and over again). They're all very good games, but as a publisher, Level-5 is completely insignificant in the west.
Very well. I didn't pick up on the sarcasm, as you gave no hint as to the word being used in a sarcastic manner.

Tecmo Koei - A bit of a newer one for me. First game of their's I played was DOA4 back on the 360, & I really enjoyed it (although I'm not sure if it was them or Microsoft who did the actual publishing of the title). It was them, however, that published Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword (DS), Samurai Warriors: Chronicles (3DS), and Dead or Alive Dimensions (3DS), all of which I enjoyed. I can't wait to see what they have in store for the future of 3DS.
Namco Bandai - I've been a fan of Ace Combat & Soulcalibur since my PS2 days, and I currently have Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy & Tales of the Abyss for 3DS (TotA was even my favorite 3DS game until recently). Planning on picking up Pac-Man & Galaga Dimensions and Tekken 3D Prime Edition eventually (really hope they eventually release a Soulcalibur on 3DS).
Square Enix - Final Fantasy has been a bit of a mixed bag for me, but they also publish Kingdom Hearts, which makes them one of my favorite publishes by default (oh yeah, there's also Chaos Rings).
I've really been wanting to get into the niche stuff like Atlus, NIS (America), and XSeed, but after I get all the big name stuff I want, I don't seem to have any more money left over.
Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)
The only reason I picked SQUARE ENIX as one of my favourites was because of what a great job they did to "Heroes of Ruin" even though the game did not last that long.
NAUGHTY DOG A amazing publisher. They kept me going through the PS2 "Jak" trilogy, wish I was still playing them as well.
NINTENDO Get real, I don't need to give you a explanation.
Atlus- Probably the one publisher with more quality in its veins than it should have.
Nintendo- For obvious reasons
XSeed- I swear, everything they publish is amazing.
Capcom- I've always loved Capcom even if the last two years or so have been a little mixed.
Konami- Metal Gear.
Okay seriously, are we brothers or something? I would love to say Xseed is one of the best but I have only really had time with LKS.
Oh and SE for FFXIII and Fortune Street.
It's like, I just love a cowboy

I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad

And can you go a little faster?!
MY #1 is obvious - Atlus. They put out tons of great games for all different platforms. They do a good job localizing games, and their staff has a wonderful sense of humor.

SEGA I love the blue hedgehog
Sony publishes the Jak games. ND is owned by Sony.
Atlus- Pretty obvious. They're awesome at translating and put out some stellar products
EXSEED- Pretty much everything they've brought over has been excellent. Then there's the fact that they still support the PSP, which is pretty crazy.
Aksys- Their translations are excellent, although the games they bring over can waver on the quality scale (usually compensating that by having a crazy fanbase supporting what they're publishing; Fate/Extra comes to mind). Still, they brought two M-rated visual novels to the west for systems not known for having adult audiences, so that's pretty great.
NIS- Once again, excellent translators. Bringing Sakura Wars was a huge risk for them as well, and it's unfortunate that it didn't work out.
Nintendo- Obvious. Moving on.
Valve- They put out quality stuff and care about their storefront for delivering their content. Are one of the few forward-thinking publishers out there.
Microsoft- Okay, I'm going to get flack for this, but hear me out. They put out a lot of games a year when one factors in XBLA. Then one takes into account that all of their games on consoles get a lot of attention in regards to advertising. Then there's their handling of such properties, which in my opinion is quite good. They may not put out as much stuff as Sony, but they put a lot more effort into making their products known.
Best thread ever

Nintendo - 'Nuff said. SEGA - I love Sonic, ergo I love SEGA. Ubisoft - Rayman Origins blew me away.
I foresee what you'll do there.

Top 5: Nintendo: As others have said, it's quite obvious.. Square Enix: FF, KH, Chrono Trigger, etc.. Sega: They have Sonic. Also, they publish some other pretty decent games. Konami: Castlevania. The series is that great to warrant a place on this list. EA: Madden (I love football), Beetle Adventure Racing, etc..

Square Enix: I'm very glad they let Sleeping Dogs and Heroes of Ruin see the light of day. They even took a hit from Sleeping Dogs not performing phenomenally, but I hope that doesn't deter them from bringing out more smaller-name titles into the spotlight.
Rising Star: These guys are like a UK/PAL version of XSEED. They often take a little bit too long for my liking, but everything's translated well and everything they pick up suits my tastes
Circle ENT: Hear me out on this one. Circle ENT's one of the only publishers who supported DsiWare in Australia, which means we had the privilege of getting stuff like Ace Mathician and (soon) Go! Go! Kokopolo 3D. Their in house games are a bit hit or miss though.
Valve: They source the cream of the crop, unearthing gems like Portal and TF2 - making fanmade games commercial successes. Plus, they constantly update with new and creative stuff - what's not to like?
always thought I'd change to Gyarados after I turned 20 but hey, this is more fitting I guess. (also somebody registered under the original Magikarp name and I can't get back to it anymore orz)
