Okay, how does Favorite PC Games sound? Now you don't have to sound like an expert. Also, you don't have to list a lot of games. I just listed that many because I could.
Personally, I think one of the best PC games is a little game called Bob Came In Pieces. It's a puzzle game where you control a ship that can be reconstructed to suit any situation at hand. It's one of my top 25 games and it definitely deserves that spot.

I actually have Bob Came In Pieces, just haven't played it yet. TF2 Altitude Civilization IV Killing Floor Psychonauts
Sean Aaron ~ "The secret is out: I'm really an American cat-girl." Q: How many physicists does it take to change a light bulb? A: Two, one to hold the light bulb, the other to rotate the universe.
Still the best adventure game I've ever played. Unfortunately, its sequel Dreamfall was a sore disappointment, and I doubt we'll ever see the third part of this supposed trilogy. That said, TLJ still makes for a kick-ass standalone game without the cliffhanger that was left at the end of its poor successor.
Sid Meier's Pirates! (old and new) Tomb Raider Anniversary (best in the series, IMO) Starcraft Zuma / Zuma's Revenge Puzzle Quest Trackmania United Forever Pro Pinball: Big Race USA X-Wing Alliance (best and last of the Star Was fighter simulators; at least they went out with a bang; I'd probably also say it is my favorite Star Wars game) Prince of Persia: Sands of Time (how they could continually get worse from thereon nobody knows) Fallout (the original) Worms
Hoo, boy! Let's include some golden oldies, just for the fun of it: Wing Commander Railroad Tycoon Magic Carpet Theme Park Populous 2 The Settlers II Descent 2 Master of Orion 2 (hmm, lots of 2s) Heroes of Might & Magic 3
Mario Forever! (free nipple suit and gratuitous butt-shots included) PSN: MisterMumbles82
I've been playing PC games nearly as long as I've been playing Nintendo. They are my two, and only, gaming loves. Here are some of my all time faves...
Day of the Tentacle Star Trek: 25th Anniversary Psycho Pinball Command & Conquer Grand Theft Auto Star Wars: X-Wing Alliance Star Wars: Jedi Knight Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri Half Life 1 & 2 CSS 1.6 Conflict: FreeSpace Unreal Quake 2 Trackmania Deus Ex F.E.A.R Portal Sins of a Solar Empire Crysis
I'm more for the smaller, Indie games available on the PC, stuff like Audiosurf and Puzzle Quest, although there are a few bigger that I quite like such as Deus Ex and Torchlight but these are few. That's how I prefer my games on the PC tbh, (The fact that my Computers specs aren't that great has nothing to do with it btw ), I save the bigger games for consoles.
And as long as I live, I will avoid MMO's. Only one I've ever played (Technically) was Phantasy Star Universe but I never went into the multiplayer mode, just stayed on Single.
Maniac Mansion 2 Monkey Island 2 Space Quest 3, 5 King's Quest 1,2,3,4,5,6 Hero Quest (Quest for Glory) 2 Sam n' Max Hit the Road Full Throttle Gabriel Knight Colonel's Bequest, The Dagger of Amon Ra
Strategy: Command and Conquer Red Alert Warcraft, Warcraft 2 Theme Park Syndicate Dungeon Keeper Settlers Lords
Diablo Prince of Persia 2
TIE Fighter Wing Commander 4, Privateer Rebel Assault
So ends a saga older than time itself. The World's oldest and fiercest army has been led to victory, and a lost generation is delivered from its fear of extinction. As the sun sets over the field of conflict the dinosaurs disperse, hoping never to set foot in this place a...
All of the old SSI rpg's. All of the Bioware RPG's (Neverwinter Nights, Baldur's Gate, etc) All of the Black Isle / Interplay RPG's (Planescape, Icewind Dale, Fallout, etc.) Doom & Quake (although strangely I don't really like FPS) Guild Wars A bunch more that I'm forgetting.
Once upon a time I really liked Diabo 1 and 2 and Starcraft. Then Blizzard pissed me off and I want nothing to do with them.
Shadow Man (pc version is easily the definitive version of the game, if you can get it work) Turok 2 WOW Doom 3 Call of Cthulhu Max Payne 2 Silent Hill games
