Hello everyone,

Maybe you can recommend good free to play games? If we talking about genre I prefer FPS and strategic titles but all in all it's up to you. Any good recommendation will be appreciated.

League of Legends (Strategy)

Tribes Ascend (FPS)

Team Fortress 2 (FPS)

Battlefield Heroes (TPS)

All of those are great. I've spent lots of time on each and I recommend them all. Nothing to loose since they're free .

Looking forward to: Mario & Luigi: Dream Team

Yeah, 3rd vote for TF2. Great game with a big online community.

Some people really get into the trading side of the game which, while fun, is completely unnecessary - you can get all gameplay-altering items from random drops, which you get about once an hour (for the first 10 or so hours in a week). It's only the purely cosmetic items that you'll need to pay for.

Other than that I haven't really played a lot of other F2P games, so unfortunately can't recommend anything else!

I used to have a blog link here. I'll put it back up when the blog has something to read.

World of Tanks. It's a fun and addictive shooter game with tanks.

Team fortress 2 or vindictus are my favorite. Vindictus is a hack and slash dungeon crawler though, not an fps.

Don't know why everyone is mentioning Battlefield Heroes and not the newer more realistic Battlefield Play4Free. It's like Battlefield 3 kinda, it's not cartoony like Battlefield Heroes. Here's the link to it's site.

I'd really recommend Team Fortress 2 like others have said already, and Tribes: Ascend is also really good. Steam is your friend, here is a list of a bunch of free games you can download on Steam. Recommend watching some videos from MMOHut on YouTube to see what interests you.

The usual, TF2, Tribes Ascend. If you like Tribes Ascend, and you want to find out more about the series, try TribesNext, a patch that restores online to the legendary Tribes 2.

Also, try out Age Of Empires Online, Spiral Knights and Realm Of The Mad God.

Maybe because it all depends on what people prefer. The graphic style is down to choice, and there is no objectivity as to which is better.

It has nothing to do with graphic style, Windwaker is one of my favorite Zelda's. It's just that Battlefield Play4Free is a lot truer to the full games, with it's look and it's actually 1st person instead of 3rd.

I agree with all who say Team Fortress 2. Tribes: Ascend is also very fun once you get the hang of it. Also, though it may not necessarily be FTP, Cave Story is available for free, so you might want to check that out if you haven't yet. I haven't played much else besides those, though.

Battle for Wesnoth
Seems to be just the kind of game I like the most. Not only is the gameplay great, the pixel grafics and the sound tracks are also just adorable.
Have been playing ths game for three years now, and I like it better than most retail games. The designers also spend a huge amount of time to balance the game or just generally polish the gameplay. Just perfect, just love it.

I'm a fan of MMOFPS and I'm totally stoked for Planetside: 2 to come out! I've been playing both Tribes: Ascend and Blacklight: Retribution to bide my time. Both are free to play.
