The yet-to-be-announced follow-up to 2011's Batman: Arkham City will be a prequel based on the Silver Age of DC's comic books from the 1950s during which the titular hero teamed up with the likes of Superman and founded the Justice League of America, Variety reports.
Man this has the potential to be amazing of done correctly. Though this pretty much confrims that with the expection of Mortal Kombat and the 5th cell stuff WB interactive is DC interactive.
This could be amazing if they model it using a combination of Darywan Cooke's art style from DC: New Frontier and Catwoman, with that of the Batman Animated Series style
If they could pull off that type of look it could be pretty cool looking and colorful. Adding in three cities to play in (Gotham, Metropolis, and Keystone).

But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!
Arkham City would most likely be a next gen game. And DC really wants tl get away from only having two viable brands (Superman/Batman and maybe GL) There's a likely chance that the final product wont be branded Batman branded at all.
Dc is already doing this well in Animation and they want to have a solid video game base before going all out in the film front.
