@SilentJ..... Anyone that know me personally knows Im a huge fan of Uncharted. I absolutely adore it but after droppin another hour into it tonight Im thinking this may surpass it. The Riddlers Challenges (You just have to see them to really understand it) are very cleverly placed into the games enviroments, the characters bios will have you understanding more about the characters than you ever have unless you are a Massive Bat Fan. This game is NOT only for Batman fans or comic book fans. This game was made for pure gamers. Its just fun. Uncharted is the last game that has had me so excited and Im so very shocked it a Batman game that has done it. You will forget EVERYTHING you have ever thought bad about a liscensed video game. EVERYTHING.

Wow, slapshot! You're really making me want to get the game. I'm too broke after picking up the Metroid Prime Trilogy yesterday but I'm really excited for it. I'm gonna have to pick it up sooner than planned. Price drop or not.

EB Games (canadian gamestop) had a deal: trade two games with tiv over $8 and get Batman for free. I traded EBA, which I got off ebay a while ago for $7.75, and I went to HMV and bought Syphon Filter for PSP, which came to $11.30 with tax.

I didn't think it was possible to beat the $38 price that Walmart forced on all retailers here.

Dang that is nice. I paid the full $60. Yeah and Im not overrating the game either. I just that good. GamesRadar is stating that it is as good as Bioshock and I have to agree. I kinda feels like Bioshock just with Bat Infusion

The game looks pretty good, maybe even great if we're judging it as licensed content. If I buy it, it'll be on the PC though. Yuck to the 360 and PS3.

Regardless of the liscensed game that it IS its still a Great game. I dropped another couple of hours into it and can say that its just getting better and better. The XP you earn and then use to upgrade the Bat becomes very powerful and things just get better and better. Buy this on PC or whatever you will not go wrong.

Ah, I guess I shouldn't have bragged about the price, considering it annoys the hell out of me knowing that other people got much better deals. :-3

I think you may possibly be more rabidly devoted to this game than the LKS fanbase is to theirs... jk jk

@clicketyclick.... LOL Im a big gamer and have been for a LONG time. I think I have somewhere around 30+ PS3 titles and its very rare I get really into a game or find one that just blows me away. Ive been gaming since I was 3 and Im now 27 so yeah it takes quite a bit to get me hyped up. Uncharted and Bioshock are two that have really hooked me and they were the first two in YEARS and this one came out of nowhere. I am just so blown away at how greatly this game is put together. It has gotten better and better since I popped the disc in and not many games do that anymore these days.

The game looks great. Too bad the Nintendo audience will not get a version but thats ok.

Wow I have really been enjoying this game, the combat was better on the game itself than the demo I must say. The campaign is also much longer than I anticipated, which I'm very glad about .

@Locke Cole.... dude has you even started to play the Challenge Rooms. Combat is freakin awesome. Batman and Joker play soooo different. I love the Jokers gun. I pushed like a 30 hit combo and finished it off with a gun shot behind Jokers shoulder and the last goon just fell over. Even my wife was like dang that was freakin cool. The FreeFlow Combat is awesome. It takes a lot of pratice to get the hang of but it works phenominaly once you get the hand of it.

@apocalpse217...... yeah it does suck that the Wii owners aren't getting to play this game BUT its also not a bad thing either because it would end up like the Force Unleashed. Fantastic and the 360/PS3 and very not fantastic on the Wii. I initially bought it on the Wii and was NOT impressed and now have it on the PS3 and have a LOT higher thoughts of the game.

demo was okay....the combat was so simple! it shows you when a guy is about to hit you LOL easy as a chcken on a potato. (yea i dont know either...) in assassins creed you have to have good timing and look at their movements to know when to counter (and thats why i love it...challenging) but arkham asylam? easy. ME NO BUY

@cryptonic.... the demo is a very stripped down version of how the game actually plays. Im playing thru the game on the hardest difficulty setting and the combat is VERY challenging. Its actually a very deep combat system with very minimal input. It sounds crappy but once you get into it its very very fun. The demo shouldnt have been released in my opinion its really not a good demo when compared to the actual game. I was not happy with the combat in the demo but playin the game all I can say is WOW.

slapshot, just got the game yesterday and I agree with everything you said (except the Bioshock comment...I'm going to wait to beat it before I go to that level ). This game has to end up on some Game Of Year lists...probably will end up on mine. The only thing that knocks it down a peg is the poor level design for the Dr. Young stage...I won't go any further.

Other than that, it's an amazing game and to me it plays a lot like Metal Gear and I hate Metal Gear so me loving this game says a lot IMO. Plus, the voice acting, character designs, etc are so good...ugh...don't want to be at work, want to play Batman!

@J Bitties..... glad you enjoyed it. My reference to it and Bioshock is because with Bioshock the developers created Rapture wich is one of the best enviroments that I think has ever been created in a vido game and with Batman Arkham Asylum well Arkham Asylum is so detailed and expansive it feels like another Rapture (but obviously not Rapture). It really feels like your in a Asylum with a LOT of history behind its walls. Nothing seems out of place or made just to make a video game... it really feels like I always imagined it would be like...actually a LOT better than I ever imagined.

I agree with cryptonic, not enough fighting flare and options for me. I like the infamous style of having the shooting from walls, melee, lightning grenades, force pushes, all this sweet stuff. Arkham asylum is good, but infamous is just great.
