Topic: Batman Arkham Asylum

I went in to change my preorder on NHL 2010 to this and my buddy that works there was like I already know you must have played the new Batman Demo. I cant wait until next week to start kicking some Joker A$$. Oh I didnt shell out the extra $40 bucks for the special edition though, just too much money.

40 bucks extra? What does that edition include, a complete Batman costume?

I just played the demo, and it is awesome.
I'm buying this game as soon as I can.

@KDR_11k...... It comes with a Batarang Replica and you get the Joker as a playable character wich is exclusive to the PS3. I think the Joker character changes the story lines dramatically as well but not sure of that one.
Cant wait until Monday thats for sure.

Seriously. I used to watch that show everyday after school.

It comes with all this stuff. I had it on preorder but now I cancelled it due to lack of money. I hate how this game, PS3 Slim AND Beatles Rock Band are coming out so closely together. We're in a recession, they should have been more considerate and waited a month so money wouldn't be an issue. But this game got a 9.5 in Game Informer.

Nice pics...... Metacritic has it rated at 94 out of 5 reviews. That is the 5th highest rating on the PS3. I simply cant wait until Monday.

Doesn't effect story at all. He's only playable on challenge maps.

I like beat em ups and stealth games a lot, and I've been searching for an amazing blend of both. Batman: Arkham Asylum seems to do both almost perfectly, not to mention its frickin Batman! almost every Batman game ever made has sucked.

EDIT: I don't have an xbox or ps3, so I guess i'll miss out on a good game.

Heard the campaigns 12 hours long, a little short but I heard it's this years Bioshock, so I'm probably going to get it.

I dont know 12hours is about right for me. I absolutely love Bioshock but Ive wanted to go for the Brass Balls trophy but the campaign is long. I actually enjoyed Mirrors Edge and its like 4 hours long. I think I beat it 4 times. So lenght is not a bad thing to me. As long as its full of action for 12 hours. Judging by the reviews its Awesome from start to finish.

Finally played the demo. It was fun but I'm gonna wait for a price drop. I already have too many games to catch up on as it is. Can't wait to play the entire game though.

I got to play about an hour of the game tonight and OMG. The Demo is NOT the full beginning of the game there is a LOT more to it than the demo. The demo is very small excerpts of the start of the game but doesnt give way to much of the story. Im playing on Hard and its very difficult. I actually died on the first training fight lol. Im an hour into it and Im so ready to get home from work tomorrow to fire it back up to see what happens already, its just that engrossing. Graphics=Excellent, Controls=Easy to Use and Very Well Mapped, Story so far= on par with the Dark Knight maybe better. Oh and not Only do you get the Joker free on PS3 you also get Bones as well if you buy it at Gamestop. Very Very Nice. Ill take my freebies anyday. Guys/Gals RUN to the store and buy this if you are at the least any kind of Batman Fan. You will not be let down and Im only an hour into it and I can say that with confidence. I can honestly say the demo actually kinda puts the actual game down some from what it actually played out as.

Im sure. Its available right now on PSN so you can go and download it right now and it will be there when you get the game. I doubt they will ever charge for it either. My understanding is its a system wide free download and will stay that way. It is DLC.
