Wow, this sucks! I mean great for, she's moved on to bigger and greater things > Nintendo Treehouse.
But she was was the shining light of IGN, full of spunk and personality, possibly the most colorful, exciting, most interesting and enthusiastic writer at IGN. Matt, Bozon, Fran and maybe Craig may of been the ultimate NintenTeam, but Audrey was the next best thing! Also, apperantly Rich(he wrote GREAT reviews, but he had the personality and charm of a stale bag of potato chips) has now jumped ship....
Honestly, is there ANY reason for Nintendo fans to even go to IGN anymore? Bah, it's going to take some time warming up to the inevitable new NintendDuo....Again, awesome for her, but IGN has now taken another massive blow.
I guess Rich is but honesty I only know him for hyping non news. As a site the Nintendo stuff has gone all downhill (lets be honest everything has gone down hill in my eyes expect the comics and PlayStation Divsison)
WAT!

I think you summed it up in your first post pretty well Waveboy. This is actually pretty sad, since she was pretty much the whole Nintendo section of the site.
I always liked Audrey's reviews just because she was always excited for the games she was reviewing, and just an upbeat person in general. Looks like IGN is going the way of Gamespot now.

Ehh...no loss on my part. I stopped going to that IGNorant site in February. It's good to hear my favorite employee there is not only leaving that cesspool but literally joining the Nintendo ranks. THAT's her REAL passion.
I really don't go to the main IGN site often anymore (though I'm still a regular on some of their message boards), but Audrey was one of the few editors left with something resembling a genuine, non-generic personality.
For that reason I'm a little sorry to hear she's leaving the great undead husk that is IGN, but it sounds like she's leaving for her dream job. Good for her.
