Our house had a NES when I was extremely little, the NES was actually for my older sister. Later my brother and I wanted our own system, so then we got a Genesis. I was a Sega person all the way until Sega stopped making systems (Although I did play alot of Game Boy during that time) Around the time the Dreamcast died, My brother and I borrowed a Super Nintendo from a friend and got to play the old Mario games again as well as playing games like Super Mario World and Super Mario RPG. After that, I then got a Gamecube, and then a year after that, I got a Playstation 2. So then I was mostly playing Gamecube and PS2.

Sure it is dude, and there's nothing wrong with not liking RPG's, doesn't mean Chrono Trigger is average, even If you don't like RPG's you should be able to understand that Chrono Trigger is top of the bill as far as RPG's go.

@Master_Barney: In my opinion, Chrono Trigger is average at best. Why is that so hard for you to accept? I have enjoyed other games, even some RPGs, more than Chrono Trigger.

You don't like it ok that's fine. But it shouldn't be hard to understand why people think it is great. I am btw not a big fan of chrono trigger, so i'm not talking as a fanboy. It's fine if you don't like it, and I'm not crazy about it but I seriously can't consider it being average.

Think out of the box man don't be so simplistic, I preffer the SNES but the Genesis is a great console. There is nothing wrong with you liking it and i don't want to change your opinion. I wasn't very serious about this subject just wanted to debate it with you for fun just like i used to do when I was a kid. It's a silly debate and non is better, you have your prefference and that is fine. It was just for fun man relax.
I was never able to choose a side in Nintendo vs Sega. I have always loved both. For me as long as a console has great games to offer I don't care what company made it as long as it is a quality product. To be honest I can think of only one console I have had a problem with and that is the 360. Other than that I have been a fan of gaming in general ever since I was a kid. I don't fall under any annoying fandom biased ladder when it comes to gaming products. I buy what looks fun and that's that.

none, i've had consoles from all partys besides xbox and liked them all equally. the dreamcast was awesome for sure, but so was every nintendo console since 8-bit. sticking with only 1 company is doing yourself a big disservice(word?).

I'm a Nintendo person, but only bacause I'm jinx and I have never been able to get a SEGA console, for one reason or another . Honestly, I believe, both companies are great, and have a good backlog of games to show off.

I've never owned a Sega console in my life (though I really want a Dreamcast), and the most of the Sega games I have played I haven't been too impressed with, so I say Nintendo.
