Topic: Are there any good PS3 releases this summer coming?

I've been busy with school a lot lately so I haven't had a lot of time to be checking around for gaming news lately. I was just wondering if there are any good, preferably multiplayer games (even more preferably fps, racing, or fighting) coming out this summer time. I ask because at the moment i do not think i have a game in mind to be looking forward to haha and I'm wondering is this going to be a dry summer? especially on the ps3?

I don't notice much of any must-have retail releases other than possibly Mafia II. It's really the PSN games that are more of interest to me like Joe Danger, Blacklight: Tango Down, and Worms 2: Armageddon (which may or may not see a summer release).

On a whole there's just not much coming out - maybe E3 will have some surprise announcements, but I doubt it with this short a time span - which isn't necessarily a bad thing, in my opinion. As it is, I'm also looking forward to dabbling with Trackmania Wii, Starcraft 2, Team Fortress 2 and other Valve games for Mac, and that's beside the games I already have which are begging to be finished. I'm all set.

ModNation Racers, though I've never played it, is supposedly a good Mario Kart-esque kart racing game. It has 4-player spilt-screen multiplayer and has lots of online support as well. Other than that, hm... I really can't think of much else this summer. There are games like Red Dead Redemption that came out recently that has multiplayer. It's not very fun though... the multiplayer, that is.

Oh ok, i see, maybe ill settle for buying some old time classic multiplayer games...however i already have Mw2, Battlefiel warhawk, SSFIV, and fight night 4...maybe i should find a way to get back into singleplayer games then haha. Thanks for the info, guess i'll have to be more productive this summer AHA
