I was playing my Saturn last night and it made me wish Sega would introduce a new game console. I know we already have 3 consoles and two portables, but I miss the Sega hardware sometimes.
With every single breath and molecule of my consciousness. There are very few Sega consoles I don't own, so I need another one to beef up my collection still further.
I miss Sega making great arcade games. There are so many fun arcade games its easy to lose count. I was on vacation a few days ago and ran across Ocean Hunter. It was a HOD style shooter done under the sea. Very cool stuff
Yes, but only on the condition that Sony or Microsoft bow out of the console business, as 4 home consoles might be a bit much for the current market. But I'd gladly trade the existence of either of the former 2 companies for a Sega revival.
I still await the glorious day when SEGA will reveal their new console to the world. It shall be known affectionately as the MEGATON and take the world by storm with it's blast processing powers!
Yes, because in our capitalist (not for long) society, more competition means a better product.
Not for long, eh? Oh, you must be one of those Obama-is-a-socialist people. You crack me up
Now, just appoint me as the Game Czar and I'll straighten this out for us.
Yes, I am one of those people. May I point out that the word czar comes from the communist Russia. Just an intresting fact. Here's my list of Obama's (and Bush's, they both suck!) socialistic policies-
-Pay Czar -Holding of common stock in companies -Government Health Care -Not allowing companies to buy back stock -ACORN -And there's a lot more
Mostly no. The console wars are intense enough already, and there's no place for a 4th wheel. Plus, given Sega's BRILLIANT business tactics, they probably wouldn't last long anyway.
On the other hand, with Sega back to making consoles, they might actually start making good games again...

Oh! I always wondered what that 'cz' spelling was all about. Facepalm, and so forth!
Apparently my gift for humor is lacking (dang, no 2000 Wii points for me!). Is is that unclear that I ended my post with the Game Czar bit in order to poke fun at my own side and keep the tone lighthearted, lest we end up in a potentially pointless debate?
Anyhow, I'm not afraid of the big-bad wolves on your list, but if we're going down that road, it should probably happen over in General Discussion, where people do not mince words (much) regarding their deities and other fiery matters.
Actually, Czars come from Russia, but not communist Russia, obviously. It wouldn't be communism if there's a czar. Remove that palm from your face, Czar Wario.
Also, why would anyone want Sega to make another console? None of their other consoles were any good.
Understood, I'm just playing around as well, hammer and sickle at rest.

True, but I thought he was meaning something like "Czars are from Russia, and you know what happened in Russia!" Palm safely away from face. Also, it's Czario to you, sir.

Huh...None of those are actually socialism, though, especially in execution. I could go further but nobody wants to see a discussion on this develop.
