I recently decided to start playing it again and I just realized I never unlocked everything. There's several secrets that can only be earned in co-op mode and I never had any friends who cared to play it with me. There's these switches in the stages that both players have to stand on to open secret rooms. It always sorta bugged me that I couldn't unlock everything by myself. I wonder if it's possible to play Co- op without an actual second person? Like maybe I could just hide one guy in a safe corner while finishing off the enemies then when it's time to step on co-op switches I could control each character separately and stand on each switch. Anyone ever tried that?

I'm sure its possible, but it sounds like it would be a gigantic pain in the ass.

Yeah I kinda figured it would be more trouble than it's worth. It's a real shame that you are forced to miss out on all the secrets in the game unless you have a buddy to play it with.
