The only games I buy full price are 3D Marios, Mario Karts, Zeldas, Mass Effects and Final Fantasies (when they're good). After that, I do sales and ebay.
So much for used games being cheaper. Was in Walmart today and a used copy of Batman Arkham Origins was $28 but a new copy was $15.
When the used copy was traded in it was probably when it just came out so the trade in price was alot higher than now but went unsold so the price stays the same to avoid losing money on it. I see this happen at CEX in the UK all the time.
I have a 2yr old. That automatically makes me a budget gamer. I buy full retail if the whole family wants a particular game (me,wifey, and niece who lives with me) Other than that, I wait for sales especially on VC/indie games.
