Usually, in RPGs, the common people (like the NPCs) are supporting the "good guy" and oppose the "bad guy." I wonder, though...

Well, on both Fable and Fable II you can become a "bad guy" and get support from people (out of fear), or be good and still don't get support from them...

Lost Oddesy. Througout the whole game the villan is gaining the support of the people while using the king as a puppet to gain power.
