Crash Team Racing. Far superior to any Mariokart.

Lol no. That does not count. I have never seen anybody say anything bad about that game ever. It is a completely well recieved game. I even checked Metacritcs, and there's nothing below a 70% there.

All I am saying is that my tastes (with regards to this game) contradict most people's. I don't find many people who agree that Crash Team Racing is better than Mariokart. Also, by your standards, Sticker Star and Kirby's Epic Yarn don't count either.

Actually, I've seen plenty of people say CTR is better than Mario Kart, even on this site.

And yes, I don't think any of the games people are listing here besides the one the in the OP actually count (except maybe Need For Speed Underground, I'd have to look into that). Most of these are well recieved by fans and critics alike, and the ones listing them are obviously paying more attention to the vocal minority than the actual fans of those games, of which I could probably prove there are many. I mean, Epic Yarn won awards for G-d sakes. Of course they have tons of fans. I was going to pick out each and every one of these, starting with you, but it was late, and I got too tired.

Kirby Air Ride and F Zero GX and Need For Speed Underground were all better racing games then Mario Kart Double Dash and all released within a few months of each other

While those were all pretty good games that you mentions I really enjoyed Mario Kart Double Dash. Honestly it was probably my fav Mario Kart.

fair enough but I far preferred Mario Kart DS in...every conceivable way (barring maybe the lack of character specific attacks). While I like the other Mario Kart games, most of my love for the series is the insane amount of time I put into DS.

I find Castlevania Lords of Shadow to be a lot better that many give it credit for. I don't recall it ever getting panned by gamers or critics, but it sort of fell by the wayside when it got released a few years ago.

How about the 3 new Transformers movies? I like those but a lot of people don't for some reason (I grew up in the 90's, not the 80's though, so that could be the problem).

I also like baseball (Reds fan) more then football, and most people don't agree with that.

Honestly there are a lot of things I like that many people are different on.

People don't like the Transformers movies because of bad writing, adulteration of something that was originally a toy brand, and.. other, stuff...
You don't need to have grown up in the 80's to dislike those movies, they're just bad: transformers fans, and movie critics alike can easily see that. Let's say the 1st one was the tiniest bit of good, and was "okay", "okay" is not what Transformers deserved.

If you like it that's fine, but demanding consumers know that it's bad.

I always found the Transformers movies to be fun in a "turn-off-your-brain-and-watch-stuff-explode kinda way." I still think they're terrible movies, but certainly not unenjoyable. I could see the right audience liking them. (and obviously that audience is very big considering how massively popular they are...)

I could do this for the first one but Transformers 2 honestly fails at even this tbh.

I dunno. I haven't seen the first one since 2007, but I've watched the second and third ones several time for that reason alone. If the first one does it better, though, I'll be sure to watch it again someday.

I love this game but I know why they don't like it and I can agree with them. Like the checkpoints in the game with the re spawning enemies. All the things that were bad about the game never bothered me from disliking the game. I love many things about the game. The malaria (while hated) I like it as it added a sense of tension and make sure you have enough. The fire effects and how it acted was something I never seen before or have seen recreated the same or better (looking at you FC3).

Well, it seems like nobody likes either Starfox Adventures or Assault, while I greatly enjoyed both..

I'm really not sure why but I liked these too.
