Topic: Am I the only one...?

Are you the only one that likes a game nobody else seems to? Make your case.

G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra (PS3) - Movie tie-in, not exactly the G.I.Joe I remember, those stupid power suits, awkward vehicle controls, not the greatest looking. OK. But darn it, I 100%ed the game three times. Once on the easier mode, twice on hard... the fun way to play it. Perhaps a poor man's contra, but I loved the arcade nature of it, and the Joes you select for each mission can make a difference. There's two for each mission and you swap between them depending on the situation, enemy type, etc. Scores and secrets found in each mission determines how many stars you earn at the end of each, of which goes towards game percentage completion. It was nice to see a bunch of unlockable Joes added that were not in the movie. They all generally have different abilities too. Nothing revolutionary here, but I enjoy it.

Basically any game that recieves terrible reception from the gaming community are usually enjoyable for me.

I like a lot of games no one knows about, if that counts...

Also, they don't make these movies for people who enjoy them as kid, but they try to make it to appeal to this generation of kids.

How about the 3 new Transformers movies? I like those but a lot of people don't for some reason (I grew up in the 90's, not the 80's though, so that could be the problem).

I also like baseball (Reds fan) more then football, and most people don't agree with that.

Honestly there are a lot of things I like that many people are different on.

Well, it seems like nobody likes either Starfox Adventures or Assault, while I greatly enjoyed both..

I enjoyed both myself. I wish they would come out with another one similar to Assault.

I like most of Rare's new game while others seem to claim they are crap. I thought Kameo, Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts, and Perfect Dark Zero were all fairly fun games.

Aw, I like that game too. Even if it stinks of bs trying to turn the entire Mario series into one giant blob of nostalgic sameyness.

I really like Enter the Matrix. Its not a good game at all but I like the Matrix Universe and it is a cool Max Payne sort of game despite everything.

Same here. I had a lot of fun with that game, and i'm always tempted to re-buy it.

I enjoyed Enter the Matrix. I didn't think it was the greatest game ever but people acted like it was Duke Nukem Forever. . Speaking of which, did anyone play that and like it?

Crash Team Racing. Far superior to any Mariokart.

Lol no. That does not count. I have never seen anybody say anything bad about that game ever. It is a completely well recieved game. I even checked Metacritcs, and there's nothing below a 70% there.

All I am saying is that my tastes (with regards to this game) contradict most people's. I don't find many people who agree that Crash Team Racing is better than Mariokart. Also, by your standards, Sticker Star and Kirby's Epic Yarn don't count either.

Kirby Air Ride and F Zero GX and Need For Speed Underground were all better racing games then Mario Kart Double Dash and all released within a few months of each other

I liked Other M as well, even though its shooting controls sucked. Solid platform blending. The primes were better, but it was a nice take on the universe.
