Topic: Aggregate of FAVORITE all-time games lists

Hey guys, if you happen to be a "list-whore", you might find this interesting.

Almost a 1,000 gamers have participated in this All-Time FAVORITE games list so far.
When a gamer makes his/her Top 25 (a Top 10 is also fine), the results are updated in real-time and you can rank any games (as obscure as it can be)!

This list is an aggregate of all gamers lists/opinions, so if you don't like it you can always play around with the demographic filters to see the results from a female perspective or just the people from Portugal (or wherever).

Yeah, that depresses me as well. Too many of today's gamers seem to only know of things released in the last few years, and not the fantastic stuff made before their generation...

The list has just reached a 1,000 participants with Mass Effect 2 in the lead.
Curious to see what happens months from now with it reaches 5,000 people.

What are you guys talking about? I checked the top 50 and about 14 were newer games. If anything, I think there's too much nostalgia here...

Persona 4 is not high enough. >:[

And Ocarina is too high

Makes sense it would be alot of newer games on there depending on the age of gamers.

Mass Effect 2, Number 1? Really? This list is ruled by people who think anything before Halo and GTAIII sucks. (OOT has its fanboy army)

The list has changed since I first saw it, when I first checked it stuff like Far Cry 3 was in top 5.

Interesting: male Americans have Ocarina of Time at the top of the list while female Americans have Chrono Trigger!

I agree. You have to concede that games are getting better with time in regards to our own technology, and even if you enjoyed Pokémon Red back in the day, you have to understand why there are hundreds of other games that other people might enjoy more. Unless you're talking about a 'most innovative' or 'most groundbreaking' category, it just doesn't make sense.

None the less this is about personal favourites, so here's my list if anyone's interested. Knowing myself I've probably forgotten about a lot of games, so I'll be updating it with time, because I do enjoy a good list. :3

I just got Legend of Grimrock. Good to see someone really enjoyed it. I've been meaning to play it recently, but I'm playing a ton of stuff right now. ^_^;
