I've been trying for the past few days to finally buy some PSN games, but every time I try to get points it says my card information is invalid. I know everything is right because I've tried over ten times and checked the info every time but it still wont accept it. I use this card almost every day, so I know it works. Of course, it's a debit card, not a credit card, but that shouldn't matter, right? I even went to my bank account online to see if I had somehow lost the money in my account, but that luckily wasn't the case. It did, however, show a lot of transactions for $1 from the Playstation Network, for every time I tried it, so obviously it works. Those later disappeared, so I wasn't charged at all, but I wouldn't have minded being charged if it actually accepted it and gave me some PSN credit. I also tried connecting my PS3 to send updates to Facebook, but even though I put in the right information, it tells me it is wrong. Has anyone else had this problem
Try contacting your card provider, there could be something going on on that end (like a block on internet purchases, or they might have flagged some recent PSN charges as suspicious?). If everything's fine on that end, try contacting Sony's customer support and see what they say about what's going on with your PS3.

I got a 55 dollar prepaid Visa card for doing a research study on Lightspeed Consumer Panel and while it works other places, it won't work on PSN. The following is from the Playstation Network website. http://us.playstation.com/psn/playstation-store/purchasing/in...

And can you go a little faster?!
I would definitely do as TBD said an call, and until that get cleared up I would recommend using your debit card to buy a prepaid PSN card that definitely will work.
Ive had some trouble getting my cards to work with Nintendo quite a bit, and usually I will give up and try again a few days later and it will work for some reason.

Nope, it happened to me too and only PSN is doing this. Nintendo was more than happy to accept my card however

just because your card was also declined doesn't mean it's the same problem... you'd be surprised the kind of crap your card provider can pull. either way, that would bring you to the second part of my suggestion -- call Sony :3

You could just go to Amazon.com and buy a code for a points card for PSN eith the card and see if it works there. I believe you can just buy the code straight up and get it almost instantly.
Make sure your debit card address info is entered exactly as it appears on your statement. I used to have trouble with my debit card until I corrected something minor in my address information. I had put my apartment # in the wrong address line. If that doesn't work, then try getting a PSN card or call Sony as mentioned above.
